A win tomorrow could see us out the bottom 4. I’ll be honest I thought we were in there for the foreseeable so massive credit to the lads if they get out of it even if it is short lived.
Their commitment hasn’t really been in question but with a few senior bodies back we’re starting to look more threatening going forward.
Agree Egg, three in a row would be incredible
Not posted for a while, felt too dreary about it all
There are a couple of key fixtures over Christmas against Shrewsbury and burton as well that would be really good to win
He has deleted my post in which I quoted a comment of yours on the Paul Cook thread aimed at me Bullitt but I’ll leave it there now and go back to discussing Los Tics
At the moment the lads are working their socks off and their attitude and work ethic is second to non.
The experience these young lads are getting at the moment is immeasurable. The minutes on the pitch they’ve had so far ?, under normal circumstances they’d be lucky to get that in 2 seasons and its showing with huge improvements on a weekly basis.
We need new owners in ASAP and start negotiating new deals for a good few of these young lads as most are out of contract in the summer.
I just hope its not the same of the same were, we do all the donkey work bringing them through and giving them the experience on the pitch then release them only for someone else to benefit from all our hard work.
But again, win lose or draw I think I speak for every Latics fan when I say were all so proud that you’ve all held it together and showed immense fighting spirit and every week your giving your all to hopefully keep us in this Division.
They need to carry on and make (if we do) any new arrivals fight for a starting position.
Well done to every Latics player my hat goes off to you all

Its also worth noting that tonight will be the 17th league game and the 21st competitive game in just over 3 months after the shortest off-season in history. Last season a club not a million miles from Wigan were calling games off in August because they had to field youngsters and didnt believe they were able to handle two games in a week after a whole off-season.

Not entirely an unexpected result tonight. These young lads put everything into the win over Accrington Stanley on Saturday and looked knackered tonight.Massive learning curve for them .We are short on numbers and need to get this takeover over the line so we can bring in some experience in January.
