Just heard that evans has been recalled by wolves – probably to sell him on.
I’ve just heard as well that toney has been recalled by newcastle. Has anyone heard anything about this?
Toney recalled because of game time and possibly going to Scunthorpe, I thought in the first few games he was going to be decent but we won’t miss him, but bloody ell it leaves us short, Evans I slated when we signed him but I was completely wrong good luck to him .
Give Perkins the job of up front Toney replacement striker. I have full faith that he’ll rise to the occasion.
Now where would Toney be going? They wouldn’t want him back so it must be us sending him back.That was Horcs idea.
I bet it is similar to Evans and Wolves situation. The barcodes will want to get him off their books rather than have him lingering around from club to club. Toney will be on decent money of which Newcastle will be paying a good percentage of. Scunny may be willing to pay a few hundred grand for him perhaps and Cooky doesn’t think he’s worth a permanent contract. Then again I might be way off the mark.

What a journey!Will be interesting to see if Evans makes The Blades starting eleven. We will be facing them next season so at least we will know of him.
I was going to say the same except about Callum macmamamamum – I thought he was there as well, but I see he is wallowing in the depths with Sunderland.
Bring back Callum Lang !Lang may be recalled, but we also need an immediate ready made replacement for Toney incase anything happens to Grigg. Problem is, who?
Well we got rid of 5 strikers in the summer so the problem was created then. Any one of them could have contributed as much as Toney has.
With Toney here, we had a chronic need for another striker, even more so now.
Interestingly, Eoin Doyle went back to Preston the other day. He played at Portsmouth for Cook. Scored a few on loan at struggling Oldham, so we may go for him. Talk of James Vaughan doesn’t excite me.

Eoin Doyle has gone back to the Knobbers because he is injured and could be out of action for up to four months. Thank You, there is a God !

You could be spot on with your assessment. Cook has had 6 months to look at toney & has probably made the judgement that he isnt up to championship level, let alone league 1.
