I don’t really expect you all to understand ir take notice of what I’m on about. Suffice to say, if this was Mudhuts you’d all be banished for poor forum etiquette. I blame the Admin, myself ;)
Anyway, moving on, just from the pages of today’s Daily Mail here are some names for whom you can start a thread so that you can claim they will be Roberto’s missing link, players who you have admired for many seasons and in whose honour you can w@nk yourselves into oblivion.
Stephen Fletcher, £7m – worth the gamble?
Rob Hulse – up for grabs again.
Guy Demel – always liked him. Bought him for Stockport on Champ Man and won the European Cup. Wearing red and white stripes. Mint kit, that.
Sydney Govou – going to Galatasary. Maybe Hasan Kebab will therefore become frozen out and available. Always liked him, me.
Jimmy Bullard – off to Celtic. Aw, missed out again
Nelson Valdez – nailed on, apparently. You heard it here first.

In which case, why have you based your post on something you read in the Daily Mail? I thought a post like that belongs in the “transfer rumours” thread. Therefore you’ve contradicted yourself as you say others don’t know how to use this board properly, when you clearly demonstrated that you don’t know either.
Plus all of the players you named are sh1t, unrealistic or really sh1t.

Duke.. I am going to answer for Griff as I made the mistake of asking something like that and Griff is right on this one.
He isn’t saying the Paper talk is fact at all… He is only saying that with the way people are posting on here (saying we should go for such and such etc) that what it says in his Post which contains things out of the paper is what you can all post about by saying we COULD go for them. He is making the point that this thread should be for possible realistic transfers and links etc, rather than people hoping we go for somebody….I THINK.
(Made a bit of a hash of trying to explain, but I think you know what I mean :) )

JamesC fell into the trap of missing the irony in my post and had to have it explained but at least had the balls to man up and admit he’d missed it.
Not only did you not get it originally, it has been explained further down the thread and yet you still don’t get it. That could be construed as fairly idiotic.
As for paranoia; a host of people talked about Mendy, some of them creaming about him much more than you did. Why assume I was talking about you? In actual fact, if I recall correctly, I wasn’t.
Keep digging lad, this could yet keep my going though the tedious summer months. But I’d advise you to lighten up. ;)
