3 June 2010 at 3:52 pm #35540You’re right Zog, I have taken it off piste yet again.
Apologies, but I think I should stay well clear of this thread as I am bored rigid with it.

Jackson MartinezThat’s going to be one hell of a wage bill.
It just goes to prove if it’s a rumour, it probably won’t happen; if Martinez or Whelan public express an interest in a player, it probably won’t happen; if I player states that that Wigan have approached him, it probably won’t happen.
When a photograph of a player, sitting in a deserted DW stadium, holding a Wigan shirt up next to his smiley face appears on the official website, then yes, it’s happened.

4 June 2010 at 12:33 am #35621Wigan Athletic attacking midfield player Olivier Kapo is trying to negotiate a move away from the DW Stadium where he has been a complete let down despite his undoubted talent.Kapo spent a part of last season playing 12 games and scoring twice on loan at France League 1 side Boulogne who unfortunately were relegated, now the 29 year old is trying to get himself released from his contract with the Latics in order to pursue his career in France.According to Calicio News Kapo is wanted by four French clubs Lens, Valenciennes, Sochaux and Paris Saint Germain, it is now up to the Latics if they want to cut their losses on a player they paid £3.5 million for and has returned just 20 games in two seasons or continue to pay his exorbitant salary whilst he slag`s the club off in the French and Italian press.
4 June 2010 at 11:29 am #35647“undoubted talent”?! He’s possibly the worst & laziest player in the squad!
4 June 2010 at 12:58 pm #35661Wigan Athletic are believed to be reacting to reports that Championship outfit Leeds United are launching a lare bid to hijack their deal fro Hamilton Academical midfielder James McArthur.

4 June 2010 at 1:11 pm #35664Losing Championship play off finalists Cardiff City are reportedly keen on signing Wigan Athletic midfielder Jason Koumas.
Cardiff manager Dave Jones has tried twice in the past to bring Koumas to South Wales outfit on loan and he is keeping his eye on Jason’s situation at the DW Stadium.
Latics manager Roberto Martinez has told Koumas that he has no future at the club as he continues to rebuild for the upcoming Premier League season.
