19 June 2010 at 8:15 pm #37974According to the Daily Star, Mascherano will be joining Inter Milan for £25m.
That will mean Liverpool need another CM …………..
Mo Mo Diame ?
You read a paper, believe it, then start saying one of our players may be going because a paper says one of Liverpools players is going..>And then you feel the need to post it on here…

Well, ye ?20 June 2010 at 5:12 pm #38049Celtic are set to miss out on the permanent signing of Landry N’Guemo after they failed to meet Nancy’s valuation of the player which is £2million pound….. He is a 20 year old midfielder who played well at Celtic Park and wouldn’t be a bad player for the likes of us… He has been linked with us and B’City, Last week Nancy spoke with Celtic and Celtic said they don’t want him but would like to buy N’Diaye who is with £2.5M which is more than what they would pay for N’Guemo.
23 June 2010 at 11:51 am #38248Martin Canning admits Hamilton are still bracing themselves for James McArthur’s departure this summer even though he has yet to be snapped up.
Speculation has long surrounded the future of the highly-rated midfielder, with Leeds United the most recent club to be linked with a player who has also reportedly caught the eye of West Brom, Wigan and Rangers.
Accies risk losing McArthur, 22, for nothing next summer if he does not seal a move elsewhere.
23 June 2010 at 11:55 am #38249Wigan Athletic are reportedly casting their eyes over Cameroon striker Pierre Webo again.
Webo was a target for Roberto Martinez in the previous transfer window but that interest did not extend to a solid bid for the player as he opted for Marcelo Moreno instead.
Webo has been capped 43 times for his country and is currently plying his trade at Mallorca, having previously played for Real Banjul, Nacional, Leganes and Osasuna.
Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion are also believed to be ready to pounce.

I find it odd we aint being linked with left wingers, its needed much more than a new striker while Roda is still at the club.
I wouldn’t mind putting a loan bid in for Obertan.
24 June 2010 at 1:28 pm #38300I wouldn’t mind putting a loan bid in for Obertan.I can put £20 quid towards it if you’re up for it.
Seriously though, I think it’s highly unlikely that a young lad would leave Man U for us on a permanent deal. Perhaps he would consider it on a loan.

That’s what Amigo suggested.I don’t think he’s that good to be honest, although Fergie must think he’s decent.
N’zogbia or Obertan …… N’zogbia
He would be like Sinclair last season, with few opportunities.
27 June 2010 at 2:00 am #38405Can we not still get that Waldo Ponce? Or has the deal completely fallen through because I’ve just read this:
Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Chile international defender Waldo Ponce and he officially becomes a Latics player on Saturday, January 2nd 2010.Ponce will join on an initial one year deal which is a compromise with the player wanting 18 months and the Latics offering just six at the start of negotiations with concerns over the 27 year old being up to the rigours of the Premier League
Ponce has had one unsuccessful period in European football in 2003 when he had a 6 month loan spell with German club Wolfsburg where he only managed 5 appearances and was very unconvincing but he was one of the stars of the South America world cup qualifiers and helped Chile to comfortably qualify for the finals.
Ponce`s deal at his current club, Velez Sarsfield of Argentina, ran out on the 31st December and he will be joining the Latics on a free leaving the player to receive $1.4 million in wages. Ponce has represented Chile 23 times scoring twice.
27 June 2010 at 11:36 am #38407About 2 weeks ago there was reports linking Ponce with Wigan, I think he may not have been granted a work permit.
