Tuncay is a quality player.
Should of had him in the first place.
I’m a bit worried though in a way, that we are now, reportedly, diving in trying to sign another striker, so close to the season. If we can get the right player, fair enough. Perhaps we are about to lose a striker? I know Scotland’s been linked with a few clubs.
Tuncay would be a class aquisition. If it’s true, I hope we go back and offer some more.

I can see a potenial exchange with Rodallega here, if they are after him. They’d be daft to sell him though unless Tuncay suits our ‘style’ of play better???
6 August 2010 at 5:06 pm #41787I said something similar about this last week, think it would be a class deal. A straight swap would be a good deal IMO, if we can get something like 5 mill on top of that, it would, for me, represent some of the best business Wigan’s ever done or likely to do.
As touched on by Griff, I agree that Hugo is a great player, but he’s a tad wasted on the wing, and Moses can easily slip into that position, (another ooo errr) if the deal’s there, a forward line of Tuncay and Boselli would be a match for most teams in the league.
If the defence gels quickly  , we’ll be looking good.
In saying all that, Pulis would be daft to sell him, but I think he’s not really his type of player, he’d certainly fit into our style of play.
Looking forward to next week. 8-)

Congratulations though, this is step up in class even for you, making us guess which particular item of clap-trap you are cutting and pasting.

Something not right about this
Apparently Tony Pulis will want a large chunk back of the £5 million he paid for Tuncay – whether Roberto Martinez will pay that for a non-South American who has never played for Swansea is another matter.
:D
