My little lad will be gutted Ben is his hero closely followed by Callum. Has No8 Watson on his shirts.
Becoming a vey sad end to a fantastic era.
Yet not even a sniff of a rumour of any players coming in yet? 10 days to go and it does NOT look good from where I am sitting!

FA Cup goal apart, I’ve never been the biggest fan of Ben Watson but since coming back from his more recent broken leg he’s been dire & I don’t think merits a place in the squad so I’m behind the club’s decision to get money for him now as opposed to losing him for nowt in the summer – any money received goes back into the club’s coffers whether it be to balance the books or fund an incoming move

Thanks for THAT goal Ben, but I will still always refer to your Wigan career as “shit”I’d have to agree. Never a player who impressed me bar a very brief spell under Bobby during the period that included the 3-2 win over Arsenal
