The way things are going, we may well need two wins, and even then it might not be enough :(
Only good thing to come out of today is that it possibly makes it even harder for West Ham
We are now in a position where we are relying on more than one side to mess up and you are correct Griff, 2 wins may very well not be enough ! I have said for quite a while now that I fear the worse but hey ho and all that !! I will be there next season come what may ! If we go down and this form continues would you then maybe think it right to consider a managerial change ? Lets use this scenario as an example Played 8 Won 2 Drawn 1 Lost 5 !! I believe that if Martinez sticks with his current formation in the Championship we will struggle big time !!

Sorry Filmoss but if Whelan had any intension of sacking Bob I believe he would have done it by now. I think Griff is right as long as he is here I think Bob will be manager.

Can’t see him going unless he finds someone to take us on and I can’t imagine people queing up to take on a poorly supported Championship club. Sorry Premiership club, just.

Ive watched them for 34 yrs not as long as you..but share the same thoughts..If the team comes up trumps happy days..but the style of football is hard to watch..But they are my team and I will be still be watching well after the gaffer as gone..
We aint had 2 wins on the trot in 2 seasons so im afraid its a big ask, normally draws against Everton and Villa would be good results but we have simply left it too late to improve and so these draws are gonna see us go down i fear. We simply cant win games for whatever reasons.

see them winning itIf we don’t beat West Ham then we don’t deserve to escape. They’re absolutely shyte.
My prediction is we will lose to West Spam, Wolves win and we both go down. I think the wolves and blapool results over the weekend killed us.
It comes down to 15 draws this season, maybe if we won 5 of those when we certainly had the chances we would be safe by now.

We are now in a position where we are relying on more than one side to mess up …mathematically – 2 wins would definitely give us more points than West Ham and at least as many points as Blackpool; it would also give us as many or more points than Blackburn and/or Wolves given that they play each other last game;
we are not in a great position but at the minute we are NOT really relying on more than one team to mess up;
unless Man United lose both of their last 2 games (Blackburn, Blackpool) then 2 wins would (almost definitely) keep us up
