Well not having any inside football knowledge I’ve no idea and honestly neither have any of you who would take the job, but if you don’t ask???
And I’m sure with a different formation we could eek out a few more goals but I guess we will never know because Bob only has one way to play.But why worry it works great :ohmy:

Robbie has had nearly 3 seasons to eek out a few wins and has failed miserably.What makes people believe we will roll W Brom over on Saturday ?We’ve not been able to roll anyone over including the lower league F.A cup fodder we’ve played.I want us to win Sat and then compound the critics again but I cant see it.The damning stat still is 104 games and stiil won 2 on trot once …Failure with huge F .I rest my case …..Until next time maybe .
Its the Darkside will rejoice bit that got me riled ! As if we as fans enjoy the dismal records that RM keeps setting ! One back to back victory in over two and a half seasons, Nine games lost on the bounce and the longest home baron period ( without a win ) since we entered the football league ! Oh and not forgetting the Club record signing of £6million plus for a striker who I don’t believe scored and ended up on loan back at the club who we bought him off !! You couldn’t make it up could ya !! And we rejoice this farcical management do we !!! grow up !!

The problem we have here is that because RM is a club legend from his playing days and he comes across as a very amiable chap some fans cant actually see the forest for the trees ! Are you saying we can never ever employ another manager ? Will nobody come ? RM is quite clearly out of his depth at this present juncture as lovely a bloke as he is ! On saying that, there would be no point in getting rid of him post 2nd transfer window but come what may at the end of the season I do think we should start to look for a replacement !

It’s all very well coming out with the above statement but I will try to answer your little argument all of the above have been under the current manager
Now does it matter how long have I been a fan well obviously yes it does matter you wasn’t around when the club was on the verge of folding and collecting money in buckets to play players wages ,you wasnt around when there were as little as 2300 in Springfield Park so every fan has an opinion
Going back to the original question as I have said the current manager is responsible for your above rant but in the same breath he has to work under the least financial budget compared to established clubs in this league .I for one didn’t imagine we would have lasted 7 years in the prem but we have it could be 8 we dont knoe just yet
I am not an idiot filmoss. I just feel we create a few chances but no end product. As for being a middle of the league team in the championship – we probably will be to be honest but just think how stress free it will be like the old days. But i forgot you have only been watching wigan during the past few seasons so have seen nothing but good times. Time you had a reality check of being a wigan supporter.

Well ill tell you Fil, ive been a fan 42 years but only 7 have been in the top league and apart from the first season in the Prem every one has been a struggle. PJ, Hutchings,Spud yed and RM have all had struggles in the most unfair league.Thats why we aint won many or lost 9 on the trot and not won at home for 7 months.Give the club credit for staying in it for so long for christ sake.Its not a competetive league anymore its simply a case of only the strong survive.
The financial side of the club did once hit Nadir and indeed the fans rallied and as they should but on the whole the team has only suffered 1 relegation and has had more highs than lows on the actual form front wouldn’t you agree ? I have said this before and will just say it one more time, the majority ( Yes majority ) of current WAFC fans have only ever known the better times ( Check the rise in attendances over the last 10yrs ) and so they have come to expect a continuation of that ! The old school are like it or not very much a minority nowadays and whether they like or dislike the new era of fans they will just have to accept them and their expectations ! The club has done tremendously well in a relatively short Football league lifetime and all credit goes to everyone for that effort but things change along the way and that is why we have a divide now. It is funny how the so called Lightsiders are largely old school don’t you think ? Of course I am aware of the money constraints but the point that I am making and that I am fully justified in making is that the current manager has not cut it ( Money constraints taken into consideration ) All this ” You have only been coming on 5 minutes ” business is getting a little trite now and the majority are starting to voice their opinions ! The vibe I get on the concourse and in and around the stands @ES4 are generally of a negative one re RM and I don’t know whether they are old school or not but they aint happy.It is good that the fans haven’t started banners and Martinez out chants and we all turn up thinking things will get better but they haven’t ! So the catch 22 scenario remains-Stay up by the skin of our teeth and have some Groundhog day shit next season or go down and stay down ! It will be ok in The Championship ( I was around then ya know ! ) but what will we be playing for ? I guess its just my ambitious frame of mind that is getting in the way of simply just supporting a football team. May be I should dumb down like Big Brother wants me to, roll on Saturday !!
