It’ll happen when it happens guys. Calm down.

No news is good news and all that.

Oh here we fookin go, “Hey man chill ya bean life’s great init ?, What will be will be bro, respect!!”2.

I just hope the £750,000 – £1,000,000 we get from the McClean to Stoke sell on clause is given straight to Cook. Myself many others do not want to see another relegation scrap all due to a lack of investment. If you read into this IEC who’s taking over then concerns would be raised.
They might be well off but the majority of the funds raised to buy the club is on loans therefore keep safe and risking jack shit of their own personal wealth’s.
Cup, I once worked for a millionaire owner who was very successful in everything he did. He once said to me and I quote “if you ever go into business for yourself never ever use your own money. Always borrow it if you can because if things go wrong you will still have your own personal wealth to fall back on ” . So if you think about it it makes sense oddly enough.
No club the size of Wigan should ever take 10-12 months to be taken over. I feel sorry for Cook, he should have known months backs his budget whether it be good or bad.
If Powell and Burn get sold this season will be one long haul. It makes you think this IEC have other motives with this takeover. A part of their business leases for events, makes you think

Rock and Pop gigs at the DW all summer could bring in hell of an income.

How do we know its IEC who is holding up the deal?. Mr Whelan has transformed this club and he loves it as much as any of us.Could it be that he is taking every precaution to ensure that the takeover is going to enable the clubs long term future. Mr Whelan will never put Wigan Athletic in danger you can stake your life on it. If it happens it will be because Uncle Dave is happy to let someone else carry on his amazing successful tenure in sure of it.

Then why has he not given us some more cash ( To be going on with ) to insure that we have at least a fighting chance in The Championship? The circumstantial timing of all this is bad if you ask me! We have heard nothing whatsoever in almost 3 months, surely the fans should be kept up to date with such things or are we considered subservient!

Because they are close to the takeover being completed I imagine certain things cannot happen fil. As someone has pointed out earlier the price must have been agreed so we cannot start selling off prize assets which are part of the deal. We are in limbo a little. Can we even sell Powell as his worth may be part of the takeover agreement.
