There is always one who wants to spoil a great day. Have a rest Stu and enjoy it.
12 January 2019 at 10:29 pm #175106So which of the terrible terrible, not good enough and steering us towards relegation Cook signings impressed you most today? Windass and Garner were handfuls upfront, poor buy Pilkington looked impressive for a lad who hasn’t played in ages, Evans and Morsy (granted not a Cook signing) controlled midfield and the entire back 4 /5 of Cookies shocking buys had Abraham in their pockets. As for Roberts who is too old and not good enough at this level……well.A well earned beer for Cook and his drinking pals.
I was waiting for your “cook out” at the end of your sentence stu :)
12 January 2019 at 10:30 pm #175109Yep, great performance today, looked sharp and more positive going forward, pilks looks like a good signing, windass had a good game crackers did well when he came on, villa looked very average, enjoy your beers tonight boys, up the tics

12 January 2019 at 10:37 pm #175113No, but we did have to watch McGinn taking on the mantle of Grealish AND spending most of the first half trying to get Morsy sent off as well!!!!(in reply to your earlier post jimmyc)!
He was at it all game Harry and when Morsy got booked I thought that would spoil his game. But Morsy got the better of McGinn over 90mins.
12 January 2019 at 10:55 pm #175114I thought after the Windass chance that it would be same old same old especially when we gifted Abraham that chance, but thankfully he missed.
Typical support from Villa. Excellent until it goes against them and then instantly turn. It’s the mentality of those that believe themselves to be a big club. Sadly some of our fans seem to have it too.
Anyway – a great win and a great performance to boot.

I don’t think they are Stu, just pleased after a dreadful few months we played a little bit more like they were accustomed to Cook playing the game.12 January 2019 at 11:22 pm #175118I thought after the Windass chance that it would be same old same old especially when we gifted Abraham that chance, but thankfully he missed.

12 January 2019 at 11:36 pm #175120That’s football Egg, it’s not just a Latics thing.
12 January 2019 at 11:43 pm #175121What a lovely day that was, bloody beltin that.
