Is Jack Byrne actually one of our players or on loan.
Hopefully no more loan players after this season’s loan shite.Burton or Forest could implode; so we have to keep the pressure on and keep our fingers crossed.Keep the pressure on implies we are at the very minimum matching their results. Burton have taken 3pts from their last 2 games and Forest have taken 1 point. We’ve lost both.

Same here but not many decent loans ever arrive just unwanted, unfit players from other clubs or youngsters who havnt proven themselves.

Five excellent loans there Standish and we have probably had many more good ones. These were however loaned with a view to a permanent move whereas the shit we have loaned this season have been loaned with a view of taking what available shite was there just for the sake of it.
Lets be honest, would you sign any of this seasons loans permanently irrespective of which league we are in next season.?
Yes remember Shearer well and I seem to remember him being re-called after he did so well.
I see a few cherry picked names of loan players have been mentioned and who could argue against their choice but for each one of those successful loanies there must be a dozen who have made little impression.
Its the way it is now re loan players. Back in the day we had the combination so fringe players still got game time. Nowadays with squads having to be registered and no reserve league those fringe players are in abundance so go out on loan. Its actually not a bad system worked right.
