Here’s a thought, but i’ll put mi tin hat on first.
Could it not be that gomezs’ speed of thought is to fast and the reason he passes back so often is because our other players speed of thought is to slow.

I wouldn’t say that exactly, but there is no doubt that when he can’t see a pass on he goes backwards rather than lose it.
It’s called being patient, but that’s something Wiganers don’t have in abundance
