8 May 2012 at 2:34 am #86704rovers fans were a disgrace, should have got behind their team instead of slagging off the manager. well done latics, can have a party sunday instead of shitting my pants.

Bobby well done to you and the players goodpost goodpost goodpost
Oh 1 more thing there banging on about the penalty that rovers should of had thats what you get for your cheating fecking corner taking8 May 2012 at 3:15 am #86710Its a wierd situation at Blackburn. Isn’t the worst manager thats ever been and just makes you wonder without the protests, that obviously affects the players, where they could have finished.
Anyway credit to Bob and all the players and Whelan for having faith. Was interviewed after the game and was interesting to here him say Bob could stay for another 2-3 years and then he would give him his blessing for a move.
Alacaraz was interviewed and i couldn’t understand a word he said! Good goal though.
Nice to go to a game relaxed for a change next week.
End of season dance booked.

8 May 2012 at 12:35 pm #86731…if someone had told me two months ago we would be safe with a game to go I would never have believed it.Not many of us would. Didn’t stop some of us continuing to support both the team and the manager, though.
8 May 2012 at 12:35 pm #86732I think the Blackburn fans showed what it is like to turn to the Darkside and influence your teams results.
But last night, well impressed with our recent run and what Bobby and the team have produced. Over the moon witht he lads.
A slight dissapointment that we wont do it last game of the season again, but lets hope we can keep this team, add a couple of players and kick on to mid table oblivion :)

I’ve always supported the team on a match day no booing from me no matter how bad it got. I chose to vent my frustrations on a message board which as you have pointed out on numerous occasions nobody reads anyway. What I will say is congratulations to Bob it has only taken you two and a half seasons but he finaly seems to have found a system that suits our players.

What? Like I’m going to let someone who has been slagging off Roberto all season long – both personally and techincally – get away with a simple and utterly patronising “well done, Bob” when it all turns round for the good? Not a chance. ;)
Fair play to Hindley though, at least he’s been pretty consistent and constructive with his contributions throughout the season. You, on the other hand…

Well lets just hope he stands by us then and turns down big money to go to some big club ! If he goes he becomes a mercenary and his loyalty to the club he says he loves goes flying right out that window ( Choose any you want ! )
8 May 2012 at 3:23 pm #86749Yet more nonsense from the darkside. Some of us cant forget so easily the grief some gave the club and Bob earlier in the year and those who lost belief must now hang their heads in shame. How is Bob a mercenary when he turned down a bigger club with more money last year? If he goes to a top 6 club well who wouldn’t?
Face facts, Bobby has worked miracles for this club whilst having his budget trimmed each year and building much stronger foundations for the club. In addition to this over the last two months we have witnessed probably the greatest football and the greatest results ever seen at the club and a playing style that has been compared to the greatest clubs on the planet.
Others will criticise his signings such as Boselli but forget the gems of Caldwell, Moses Ali, Macarthur, Beausejour and Maloney. Lets hope he is still at the club in ten years. We are certain to be in better shape if he is!

Your last line is what I am trying to say ! If he indeed loves this club and has a future plan installed then why leave us ? Money isn’t everything and loyalty should come first ! DW will sell sooner rather than later and who knows what lies in store for us but I would be disappointed if he left us after all that has gone on ! I don’t really see the point in laying the foundations of a long term plan and then doing one ! All this is pure conjecture so far but to me it will all mean nothing if he goes because the next person will have their own plan !
