Andre Marriner has been chosen to referee the FA Cup semi-final between Hull City and Sheffield United at Wembley on 13 April. Or is it the Arsenal-Wigan match? No, I think that it is the Hull City-Sheffield United match. I hope he turns up at the right one.

The Arsenal-Wigan semi-final on 12 April will be refereed by Michael Oliver.

      Latest news on Arsenal’s injuries – Thursday 3 April;

Arsene Wenger told Arsenal.com: “Aaron Ramsey and Nacho Monreal are back in the squad, so that is good news. Hopefully they will be available for Sunday.”

Wenger also revealed that Abou Diaby had resumed training this week and that Laurent Koscielny was the next player he expected to have available, either next week or the week after the Gunners trip to Wembley.

The manager said that Jack Wilshere was progressing well but didn’t give a date for the England international’s return.

Record signing Mesut Ozil, who has been out of action with a hamstring injury picked up in Munich, will miss the FA Cup clash with Wigan but it is hoped he will return soon after that.

Theo Walcott is out for the rest of the season.

Lets hope Everton kick 7 bells out of Arsenal and rack up a few new casualties   or better still lets beat the strongest side Arsene can muster and put a few more bags under his eyes.

          Everton 3 Arsenal 0

          Szczesny
          Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Monreal
          Cazorla Arteta Flamini Rosicky
          Giroud Podolski

          Substitutes
          Viviano, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey,
          Sanogo, Jenkinson, Källström, Bellerín

It was a difficult afternoon for Arsenal and an unconvincing display. Wenger will have to pick them up if they are to compete in the semifinal and the remaining league games.

Ramsey came on as a substitute, and may well play on Saturday. Flamini will be suspended. Beyond these substitutes, Wenger has few other players available.

You know, that line up and bench doesn’t actually scare me one bit.

:( After the Gunners getting turned over today, its guaranteed Ramsey and Chamberlin will be in the first eleven and that’s my worry, I wish they weren’t.

              http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/gary-neville-analyses-arsenals-terrible-shape-during-3-0-loss-at-everton-video/?

Gary Neville shows how Everton drew the Arsenal players out of position. A wrong decision by one player undermined the whole team.

Rosler is very keen that his players know who to mark. And he tells them when he is not happy!

Wenger has a week to work on his plans for the semifinal. Rosler must deal with Millwall before turning his thoughts to Wembley. Still, he should be able to exploit some of Arsenal’s indecision.

                Paul Jewell fancies us

Former Wigan manager Paul Jewell is refusing to rule out another FA Cup shock by his old club. The Latics, who beat Manchester City in last year’s final, return to Wembley on Saturday to face Arsenal in the semi-finals. Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table, while Wigan are fifth in the Championship.

“You can’t predict Wigan,” says Jewell, who masterminded the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2004-05. “Arsenal have had a few struggles since Liverpool beat them terribly and I watched the game on Sunday at Everton, they were very well beaten.

“I look at the way Wigan have played this season and they’re aggressive in their style of play, their movement is good and I think they have a chance.
