My main criticism (and we got a point so that will do) is that our wing backs go too far towards the middle, leaving a gap the size of the M6 (even allowing for roadworks to create a Smart motorway) outside them.
We were very vulnerable down the flanks. This is a very interesting point Garswood, and its got me thinking. We all see different aspects of the game and different strengths and weaknesses of players when sitting in different parts of the ground, like the points you’ve just made.
I am curious if the club has considered this in their post game evaluation? If your reading this Cookie you can join me behind the goal and gain the insight of my wisdom, so long as you get the beers in![/quote]
Then at half time you can come and join a few of us learned officianados in ES7. We’ve got all the answers.

And I’m sorry but Clarke isn’t a striker. His best move came when the keeper kicked the ball against his back.
Near the end with theh ball at his feet he was facing our goal absolutely frozen while thousands are shouting at him to turn. He even had the room to do that !With regards to wing backs how is it we have one at the club who could unlock defences yet Cook is playing him deep in midfield. How bloody stupid is this? Is this because Cooky has lost confidence in his own shite signings of Evans and Gibson and is too stubborn to play McDonald? He must regret getting shut of Power too.
31 March 2019 at 5:45 am #177774Reece James has prooved himself at right back and in midfield, give the lad go up front with Garner and he’d probably get a pan full. He certainley would do more there than Clarke.(Devante Cole must be shite)
Seriously though, I think James needs moving back to left back as Byrne is a liability.
Their no2 today had half a pitch to himself for most of the 2nd half, yet I can’t remember Byrne ever crossing the halfway line.
Massey was weak and out of position most of the game, if QPR want him, I’ll drive him there myself, ffs Cook, give McManaman a go out wide, its not possible to do less than Massey.
Other than Byrne, Clarke and Massey I think we did okay today and probably shaded it.
PS Did Pilkington actually come on for Jacobs. or did he sit back down?31 March 2019 at 6:43 am #177776Seriously though, I think James needs moving back to left back as Byrne is a liability.Left back?? You must be getting him confused with Reece James I horc.
31 March 2019 at 1:20 pm #177778100% 2 points dropped, Brentford played nice football out from the back but with no end product.
The 1 on 1 chance just needed a simple dink over the keeper and simple chances like that need to be taken.
If anyone thinks that performances like that will keep us up needs their heads examining.
With 4 really tough games 3 away yesterday was our best chance to get 3 points against a side with nothing to play for and it showed.
We are either going to have to improve massively throughout April or we rely on others screwing up,
I think it will definitely be the latter

We move further away from the drop and you come on telling us we’re crap. No surprises there really.
1 April 2019 at 12:09 am #177785Watched Pilk’s goal about 5 times and still can’t say that anyone was offside !
Think we missed Windass today; just nobody to hold the ball up when we got in good positions.
1 April 2019 at 12:55 am #177786Garner was clearly off from my angle he started from offside to make the header

Your obsession with me is slightly worrying stu (checks bushes, closes curtain in a day)1 April 2019 at 12:55 pm #177790Garner was clearly off from my angle he started from offside to make the headerIf garner was clearly offside, you can quite easily understand the anger & frustration of Neil Warnock then.
