Have to admit I was shocked and disappointed by the line up and set up today.
If I were Barrow, not ONE loan players would’ve started the game…I’d have given the starting line up the ultimatum “where do you want to play next season, league one or championship?”
Hanson, Tunnicliffe, etc not bothered really. Bizarre set up in a must win game.
Powell , colclough and morsy on bench all got a goal in them it wasn’t too late when we played Ipswich why ohh why are we so deep slow and negative .
I bet the happy clappers say we played well against a team who already where on the beach and would of beaten us easily if needed.

I’ll tell you what’s wrong, there’s been that much upheaval this season, Caldwell went, Joyce came in, then went, Barrow has been put in charge, the squad has been full.of far too many loan players and players who haven’t contributed very much at all, and it’s all been a mish mash of shite.
We go neither tippy tappy, nor direct. We have midfielders who are f*****g shot shy and who would rather pass the Buck. We have had shite all up front the last few games and all Powell did was give us a false hope really. Obertan is awful…not a striker, and Colclough hasn’t had enough action.
How often do we actually go close from a corner? Not often enough. No, I’m joining the school of a thought who want a total managerial turnaround now. We are stale. The club is stale. Need new impetuous and a fresh outlook.Been a crap season all round really.

My time but chuff me this lot takes the mantle as by far the worst team since the bad old days of Kenny swain and barrows first stint in 1994-95.
No energy or intensity from the majority and a complete acceptance of their fate from

Burn and Perkins and Powell aside I wouldnt bloody well pay them this week I really wouldn’t.
You can slag the Kenny swain teams and what have you but at least they tried which was something I didn’t see very much of today.
The party is well and truly over now and we are left with a carcus of a football club that once graced the premier league .
There is no more room for error anymore a big management appointment iis needed and one with his own backroom team and a clear plan of where this club is going.
An absolute disgrace of a season and probably one of the most disappointing that I can ever remember.

The difference back in the Swain days was he had players such as Andy Lyons who as well as playing for Latics, also worked as a postman. He signed players like Pat Gavin on frees…never going to be super stars, but at least they had a heart and tried. Neil Morton, another free…but he tried. They were all on a pittance then, training at Robin Park public pitches and putting up with crap facilities. Incidentally, Kenny Swain’s Latics beat Graham Barrow’s Chester 6-3, when Gillespie scored two…that WAS a loan signing. Not frigging Jamie Hanson or a Teflon goalkeeper…dear me.
Swain really did not have any financial backing and was sold down the river when he came here.
This lot now, are all on decent money, all driving nice posh motors, yet they have the backbone, fight and desire of a slug.They’ve conned us all out of our money this season.

And yes, they did bloody try. I remember Gavin scoring a goal from next the halfway line, cup match V Spennymoor Utd, I think. I recall Morton scoring too. They may have been shit, but we were shopping in the whoops aisle.

Yeah lets put all the blame on the players, lads who played well last season saw everything change and have been shite since. Grigg, last season on fire this season isolated played crap so its his fault. Bogle, starts like a house on fire few weeks later being coached here crap so again its his fault.
Why so many in on loan? No players coming through the academy and when they look half decent Flores, Chow, Cosgrove etc our coaching staff cannot get them to make the breakthrough. We can hide behind the lazy excuse that the players are not good enough but this club has a far greater problem which many refuse to admit to. We will never get it right on the field when the the non-playing staff are simply not good enough.
