23 January 2013 at 12:23 am #100955There’s more chance of messi signing of us than our game getting called off.

23 January 2013 at 12:39 pm #100986We will have to meet up again for a quick scoop so you can explain where the jamesc comes from ;)And he can explain why he didn’t turn up to buy a copy of my book from the Brick like he promised
23 January 2013 at 1:06 pm #100987Might be better off leaving it till Saturday morning to clear if that snow insulation does work. Seeing as it’s going to snow again Friday. Clear it Saturday morn, temp rises, game on.

24 January 2013 at 12:03 pm #101114Latest from Macclesfield website – looking good!!!
Wednesday Update on the playing surface ahead of FA Cup match.
Heavy snow over the weekend had blanketed the Moss Rose, but acted in the Silkmen’s favour as the colder temperatures on Wednesday night came in. The extra insulation offered by the layer of snow has ensured that the Moss Rose pitch still remains in good condition under the covers, with the terraces already cleared of snow earlier in the week. The Silkmen will see how the weather forecast changes overnight before deciding on when to start work on clearing the pitch – Thursday or Friday.
This decision will be made by the club’s groundstaff, and we will let you know as soon as we have any details. As always any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
