25 January 2013 at 11:52 pm #101277FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
26 January 2013 at 12:46 am #101280Covers or no covers it aint looking good as i look out from my penthouse over looking the urbis
26 January 2013 at 1:13 am #101282Snow on those covers is the best option. Stops the ground underneath from freezing and then when the sun comes out at 9am, simply sweep the snow away. Simples!
Only issue then is if the area surrounding the ground is deemed unsafe.
Have some faith people!
26 January 2013 at 1:16 am #101283Can’t believe it’s putting so much snow down on the eve of this match. Looks like Macc are doing all they can to make sure this match goes ahead.. Hope the roads are cleared, for us not going on the train that is

26 January 2013 at 1:32 am #101290Just moaned about the cr@p weather we have in this country. If its not lobbing down its freezing or snowing and even worse when my son rang at 7pm to say how hot it is for him in Tenerife at the moment.
Macc look like they have had a good go at getting it on( boxing speak)but i fear the worst to be honest.
Look on the bright side at least we will be in the fifth round draw.
When did that last happen?26 January 2013 at 1:37 am #101291The forecast is for the snow to turn to rain through the night so temps must be somewhat higher than freezing.
Go and get a good nights sleep and it will have all gone in the morning. B) :woohoo:
From Matlock to ManU

26 January 2013 at 1:49 am #101295Match will definitely be on. An hour ago on my way home from working in Canock I dropped through Macclesfield and it was lashing down with rain. All snow (and there wasnt much) was being washed away. Not a chance it will be off.

Only thick wiganers could think that the amount of snow in Wigan will affect a game in Macclesfield.
26 January 2013 at 3:01 am #101303Just been on macc forum and its raining in macc!

26 January 2013 at 3:28 am #101307The main problem for us will be getting out of Garswood :(
26 January 2013 at 3:59 am #101315My 8 year old wants it to be off tomorrow. She’s already moaning that it’ll be cold, wet, she won’t be able to see anything and what if she gets tired? She’s never been on a terracing before so I suspect I’ve probably wasted £3 on her ticket. There’s a definite darksider in the making here.
26 January 2013 at 10:34 am #101318The main problem for us will be getting out of Garswood :(Looking out of the window this morning, you may be right. I suspect we may have the irony of the pitch and conditions in Macclesfield being fine but the game off because our team can’t get there!!
