I can think of a good few better, but they are with clubs, not living in Knutsford looking for a manager position.
If Souness is ever appointed I will hand in my season ticket. I hate the man. There are three managers I have disliked immensely, they all Scotsmen and are the biggest whingers going. They are Ferguson, Dalgleish and Souness.

Souness is too busy working for RTE doing our equivalent of MOTD… so doubt he’s willing to take a pay cut… plus wouldnt want him…

Good pal of Whelan as well, y’know? Years ago, was rumoured to be getting the job when he was spotted with Whelan, whilst we searched for a manager.
I think he’d do a decent job. Certainly better than Martinez.
i think the likes of souness, hoddle or even curbishley could do a good job for us. they have all done well with clubs on a similar size to wigan.

Agreed. All this “only two games” rubbish is getting right on my nerves. We’ve won FOUR out of our last 21 games. Gawd knows how many goals we have conceded. 18 in our last 3 league games. Crikey! That really IS sh*te by any standards. You’d be fed up with that in bloody SUNDAY LEAGUE!
The ‘crowds’ are heading towards being a ‘gathering’. Oh, and interesting thing is, the powers that be KNOW IT! How do I know this? Because they only had half the turnstiles open yesterday, that’s how.
Is that not an admission of how bad things are? What next? The South Stand being closed? Wouldn’t surprise me. Joke management….joke club.
