15 February 2020 at 9:30 pm #185091Good result but the fact is if we carry on like this we will go down but we were hard to beat at the end of last season so their is still hope.
Draws away are all well and good if we win at home
15 February 2020 at 9:45 pm #185092Draws wont keep us up…..Those above haven’t got away so all to play for.
15 February 2020 at 11:25 pm #185095Under normal circumstances an away draw is good, sadly Orr circumstances are not normal and we have to win games like that when we lead.
16 February 2020 at 12:04 am #185096Again just like in midweek and many times over the season a lead is surrendered.
Wouldn’t it be nice to go two or three up and create a cushion to insure against the opposition making a comeback or dire refereeing but as this thread started having attacking midfielders like Massey and Lowe just doesn’t help the cause.16 February 2020 at 12:20 am #185097Ref robbed us again. He disallowed their goal right at the death.
I don’t think that’s robbing us tbh.16 February 2020 at 12:44 am #185098Ref robbed us again.

He would!!
16 February 2020 at 1:54 am #185109Aye the old nat Lofthouse barge keeper in net should be allowed for sure. Let’s forget the fact both their goals were created with their player throwing the ball whilst clearly on the field of play and on the second Morsy being assaulted.
16 February 2020 at 5:23 am #185112Everything is conspiring against us unfortunately. Forget the ref v Cardiff we got what should have been a great point away but Barnsley put in a world class performance at Fulham and Luton did for Boro away something we couldn’t manage at home. Our performances and results are no longer relevant. It’s no longer in our hands. Our useless board pathetic manager and backroom staff have done for us and we will be saying adios yet again to the championship.
16 February 2020 at 5:33 am #185113Everything is conspiring against us unfortunately. No its not. You had your flukey win at Leeds. Barnsley had theirs at Fulham. Charlton had theirs at Forest. As yet, Stoke & Huddersfield haven’t had a flukey win – in fact Stoke managed to carve out a 2-4 defeat today after being 2-0 up, so in terms of how bad it could have been, you are two points closer to them having got an away point at a side pushing for the play-offs, and a point with 10 men in midweek. Stoke have had back to back defeats. They have Cardiff & Blackburn coming up – two tough games.
Now the flukey wins are history, start winning the games that you should, starting with Millwall next Saturday. Once the gap is down to one point, confidence will start to return.
16 February 2020 at 10:53 am #185114A point gained in view of the disallowed goal and I expected nothing.
The picture looks very different today with the teams below getting brilliant results away from home.
I felt we needed 10 points this month from this run of games and that now looks a very tall order.
That said we are only four points worse off than at the same stage last year which is surprising.16 February 2020 at 12:34 pm #185115Lowe Massey and Evans are out of form. Evans stupid booking in the first 30 seconds puts him into tip toe mode for 90 minutes but the manager feels the need to play him.
Again, another side high up in the table who are average in an average League. We should be comfortably mid table but again were unable to hold on to a winning position.
At least Moore is doing what he’s meant to be doing but goals conceded is our problem, far too many16 February 2020 at 1:07 pm #185116Everything is conspiring against us unfortunately.

Our win at Leeds was indeed flukey mutt, Barnsleys yesterday was not. They battered Fulham and should have won by more according to the game reporter. How are we supposed to start winning games carrying 2 to 3 passengers every game. Cook will not leave out Lowe, Massey etc no matter what our situation is so we cannot get to a stage where confidence is growing.
16 February 2020 at 1:49 pm #185117A poor choice of words at 2am! I meant “unexpected”.
If Barnsley, Wigan & Charlton had all been thumped in those games, you’d have been 5 points behind Charlton who would have had 33 points. The reality is you are 3 points behind Stoke. You have one defeat in your last 5 games, and have picked up 8 points from them. I’m not saying everything in the garden is rosy, but 1.6 points per game from now until the end of the season will give you 52 points – only twice in the last 15 seasons has that not been enough to survive.
