Have we ever played Leicester City cant remember playing them men ?

Liverpool may not be performing in the way that a powerhouse should be performing, but add up the cost of their squad against the squad that beat them on Saturday. I doubt that our entire squad would add up to the substitute that they bought on at half time (makes Boseli look like a bargain). So lets not put down our win.

After beating Liverpool he said it would be something for the fans of WAFC to remember for the rest of their lives !! I have had some stick I can tell ya from various fans re that statement ! Mainly along the lines of ” Every fucker is beating Liverpool at the moment what’s the big deal ” Now to be fair it was a good result but Liverpool are a shadow of their former selves and not really a massive scalp any more. To me it just makes us look a smaller club than we actually are ! Take the away win at Bolton earlier on in season, someone came on here enquiring if it was on DVD !! Come on !! Totally agree Nuneaton although not watched latics in the Northern Prem I do remember drawing Liverpool in the league cup when we had to play both legs at Anfield due to somebody not letting us use the other stadium in Wigan at the time which some of us have not forgot along with other things
The same people who see winning at Anfield as an historic moment most likely have a calm view to that of relegation.

I’m not old enough to remember the glory days of Liverpool but alot of people on here would of been around when they were today’s equivalent of Man U.
And if we beat Man U at the DW I will have a plaque placed on my forhead to celebrate the historic moment in which we beat one of the best teams in the world!
But as the alarm clocks off I think we will get our arses torn by them….
I will always have a soft spot for Valencia but putting that aside the way he has been playing this season is immense… so I hope he doesnt play as I think he will fly plast Booser / Figger and cause us all sorts of problems.
All in all it just makes the Stoke game that much more important.

I guess its a timeline thing with Liverpool doing so badly of late in the league and not being nailed on to qualify for Champions League any more ! So when I say ” What a fuckin result that was last Saturday for us ” to some other fan, their riposte is ” So what ! Liverpool are shite now ! ” I know what it really means to the old school and I am not attempting to steal their thunder in anyway whatsoever its just that it would have been so much sweeter when they were classed as one of the ” Big 4 ” I took the piss out of all the Nob End fans I know when they had ” Dual Scarves ” made when they entertained Liverpool in the cup a couple of years back ! I’m fine man ! I thought it was a great result last Saturday ! I was actually jumping around the house cheering like a mad man !! I fully understand the meaning of the win to many fans but I just wish it had come earlier that’s all because other fans cant see what it means. All they can see is a shite Liverpool side at the moment ! :P
