11 November 2016 at 12:13 am #152324it can only be a matter of time tick tock
11 November 2016 at 2:26 pm #152355Because he the ‘Eyes and ears’ of big Dave !
11 November 2016 at 4:25 pm #152359One of the first things Whelan did when he took over the club was sack Barrow. Why do people think they are now in cahoots?
11 November 2016 at 4:56 pm #152360And why are people wanting more upheaval at the club. We’ve had enough of that over the last 2 or 3 years.
Maybe the club will let things settle down and then make a decision, after Warren finds his feet.12 November 2016 at 2:12 am #152373One of the first things Whelan did when he took over the club was sack Barrow. Why do people think they are now in cahoots?Because he took him back again, probably on the condition that he be his ‘Eyes and ears’ :)
12 November 2016 at 11:24 am #152376Joyce will already know he is eyes and ears .four managers have gone….yet barrow still.theranyone would smell a rat. ?
12 November 2016 at 4:08 pm #152382Has it ever crossed anybody’s mind the the reason he hasn’t been is because, heaven forbid, he’s good at his job? I don’t know if he is or not but neither do the people wanting him out.

I suspect he’s a VERY good observer of what’s going on with the opposition – “look, boss, their left back is dropping deeper”, “the midfielders are doing blah blah blah”, “the striker is being pulled to the right”, and so on.
It’s up to the manager then to decide what to do with that information. Of course Barrow himself could suggest but perhaps he’s no good at that. We have enough people on here who are great experts at what’s going wrong, but I suspect most wouldn’t be able to use that to good effect. If he could provide that then he would be manager.
A string of managers have kept him on, and so he must be adding value. And don’t give me the “he’s Whelan’s spy” – I’m just not buying that – that managers will happily keep him on with no payback. He is clearly good at something that managers value.

One point gl, the managers haven’t kept him on the board have. The managers have had no option but to work with him and if he was such a great number 2 and given them such good advice we wouldn’t be on our 5th manager post Bobby.
We know how good a management duo can do after PJ and Hutchings and I still believe that had Bobby had a great man with him he would have been more successful.

Use your loaf,if he was such a shithot coach Whelan would have made him gaffer.
What is the one common denominator during our plummet from PL to Div 3 ?
Yup, Barrow.

Its logic gl, you nearly always find that when a manager loses his job his backroom staff go also. Barrow comes as part of the job here .
12 November 2016 at 10:35 pm #152396So it’s all supposition and gossip and nobody actually knows anything.
