Wiley !!!!

I thought our old friend , Mr Wiley had a strange game on Sunday. He made some awful decisions but he actually gave some in our favour , which makes a nice change.

However his most bizarre decision was when we had a free kick fairly close to their goal. As Hugo ran up to kick it , De Jong came out of the wall to charge it down, so that when Hugo hit it , the defender was about 3 yards off him.

Rodellega should have stopped dead or slowed down and De Jong would have reached the ball first. He could have then blasted the ball downfield like the Zaire player in 1974 ??

If I saw that on a local park game I’d have been shocked at the standard of reffing. :o
