A pity for Morecambe who would probably have welcomed the money a hefty 2-3000 strong Latics following would have brought to them.
Can reduce that quite a bit if they cancel this one given how tricky it can be to drive there in a rush hour, I know that from working up
that way a few years ago.
A shame as I
Am sure many marked that one down for a weekend away , day out in Lancaster etc.
Surely the clubs should have moved this one for a less favourable fixture , I thought they had options to do this ?

We can only wait and see I suppose. It only clogs up our season a bit by postponing them too, as we have to re-arrange to a Tuesday sometime so we have more weeks of playing twice a week.
Apologies, I meant to include both Irelands – Southern Ireland long-since failed to qualify, and I dont see much value in picking Keane to get whipped by Portugal.
Note I left McClean out – I think he should play for his country next game. As the next round of internationals are close to Remembrance Day, its probably better he was nowhere near an English ground that is remembering the fallen.

Bloody pathetic, if there has to be an International break, then it should only be for teams who have 3 or more players on international duty for England.
Players always managed to play internationals in midweek and then back to the league on Saturday, why can’t they carry on doing that.
If its a long trip, then don’t go to play if you can’t be arsed, and stop playing internationals over the weekend, it isn’t necessary.
As for it improving the standard of the international team, well, that hasn’t worked has it, the performance in the last international was apalling.
