Man Utd away, Liverpool at home, Spurs away, Newcastle away?
Lets be honest here shall we….Utd had been underachieving by their standards despite being unbeaten. Liverpool were pure cack that night one of the worst Liverpool performances I can remember ! Spurs I guess was a decent performance but were they still on a European high ? Finally Newcastle was pathetic, to throw away a 2-0 lead was naive to say the least and especially the manner in which we conceded the equalizer !!
It might sound negative but I am just being realistic, we are in trouble this season and it is going to need a lot of fight from the squad. Unfortunately I dont think we have a big enough percentage of players willing to roll their sleeves up and fight for the cause ! :(
You don’t work for Match of the Day do you?
I know filmoss pretty well, and it is more likely that he would work for ‘Snatch of the Day’
By not turning up at the Brick on Saturday I am afraid you have forfeited yet another offer of a complimentary beer unlucky ha ha ha

NO NO NO PHIL. it was not a one day only offer! The next time we are are at the Brick you have to get Paul and allister a drink ha ha ha. you said and you can’t welch on
what you said!
Then you’ve been smoking too much of the wrong stuff, Phil
Please feel free to elucidate Griff ! Newcastle had just come up and didnt really have a great squad and Liverpool hadn’t bolstered their squad despite having their worst season in years ! We had beat Liverpool last season and many thought the club was in decline pre season, later to be proved right !! No madness in my method !! ;)

Filmoss, I’ll give one guess as to the reason I didn’t show up at the Brick on Saturday.
Correct, we arrived at the ground before the Stoke team coach, and wandered aimlessly for about an hour.
Did you not bump into Mick Robinson ? He usually gets there about 2 hours before kick off ! His Mrs Trudi told me that once when they arrived the ground wasn’t even open and there was no one about at all ! On 2nd Jan we are getting train into Wigan early doors if ya fancy a session ! Its like our Xmas do !!

Back in work on the Monday morning unfortunatly, but thanks anyway.
Alistair might if its warmed up a bit???
Phil, I think you meant elaborate, but as you’ve been smoking funny stuff it’s no wonder you’re elucidating. I’d be seeing things too ;)
If you think Wigan Athletic is in a position whereby we are chalking up games away at Newcastle and anywhere against Liverpool as gimmes, you’re far, far more deluded than I and others have been accused of recently.
