Phil, I think you meant elaborate, but as you’ve been smoking funny stuff it’s no wonder you’re elucidating. I’d be seeing things too ;)
If you think Wigan Athletic is in a position whereby we are chalking up games away at Newcastle and anywhere against Liverpool as gimmes, you’re far, far more deluded than I and others have been accused of recently.

Griff you do surprise me ! Look up elucidate and then look up elaborate. 2 different meanings and I meant elucidate ! Anyhow dont forget the Egg’s post stated pre season or at least hinted at it and like I said Liverpool had just had their worst season in years and the talk was it was gonna be a very long season for them. A mate of mine didnt renew his season ticket there because he feared the worse ! So as we had beat them at home last season then why the hell not this time round ? Now Newcastle, and dont forget this assumption was in theory pre season, in my opinion were there for the taking as their squad wasn’t exactly brimming with class and with the benefit of hindsight, we almost did them but for some very naive defending ! Hardly the predictions of a stoner which I hasten to add at this juncture I AM NOT !!
33years man, read the Egg’s post to which sent us off on this before you dive in head first ! It helps sometimes with continuity !!
