Saturday. Was this our worst ever result?
9 January 2012 at 12:51 pm #77722A bad un undoutedly as it shows how poor the depth of our squad is but worst ever result?
No9 January 2012 at 12:57 pm #77723Bad one yes but personally Gillingham play off final reduced me to taking mogodon for uppers!!!!
9 January 2012 at 1:33 pm #77728It’s only 9 days in, but i am confident there will not be a more ridiculous post all year.
9 January 2012 at 2:00 pm #77729It’s only 9 days in, but i am confident there will not be a more ridiculous post all year...but there will be many attempts.
However – I don’t think in the greater scheme of things that it’s actually our worst result this year (ie 2012)
9 January 2012 at 4:52 pm #77740Can not think of a worse one in many years following Latics. Telford? no. Canvey Island? no.
It was a disgusting result.9 January 2012 at 4:56 pm #777419-1 v Spurs anyone?
That’s the result that non-Wigan fans always seem to remember.
Who, other than down-heartened Wigan fans will remember this one in a few weeks time?
9 January 2012 at 5:12 pm #77742As I intimated above – all things considered I think losing 4-1 at home to Sunderland was a worse result.
Losing 2-1 to a Fourth Division team while fielding a second string is certainly embarrassing, cause for concern (or at least discussion), a bit of a wake-up call.
But worst result EVER???

9 January 2012 at 5:31 pm #77744Saturday. Was this our worst ever result?Dont be such a drama queen …
9 January 2012 at 5:50 pm #77746Hopefully the Swindon result will be forgotten as quickly as some on here have forgotten the Liverpool & Chelsea results.
As for worst result in our history , it’s not even the most disappointing Swindon result we’ve ever had.
Now that did hurt !! :(
9 January 2012 at 9:29 pm #77753Anonymous

roll on man city monday night

9 January 2012 at 10:58 pm #77756Worst ever result… you can’t be serious but, NO. Embarrassing… YES.
9 January 2012 at 11:36 pm #77758I haven’t heard any reports of people wearing blue tops being found floating face down in the canal nor any mention of an unusual rise in firearm related deaths in the area so I would say that this defeat has, by and large, been passed over without too much stress by most supporters.
9 January 2012 at 11:50 pm #77759Nope it hasn’t been our worst result in our history. Embarrassing, not as much as Canvey Island who are a Non League side.
At the end of the day there are worse things happening in the world than Little Wigan getting beat in the FA Cup.10 January 2012 at 12:21 pm #77770How would you define worse ever result. I agree losing a playoff final changed my view on football more than a cr*ppy fa cup game did.
