Carrying on from the Rochdale post where a member suggested free admission to the rugby, would you take them up on the offer if it were to happen?
Perhaps a moderator could pin this thread for a month or so to keep it at the top to get a fair reflection of the thoughts of the fans.
It’s not the cost that stops me going, it’s the fact that I’m not interested in it, but if either of my two lads wanted to go, I’d take them.
Thankfully though, they both play Union and want to go to a Sale Sharks game.

If it was a warm summer evening and they supplied a taxi to pick me up and drop me off afterwards i would quit fancy having a pint whilst sat in the stands.
All those Grumps but sat in the away end with my back to the pitch with ear defenders,blindfold and cotton wool up my nose. Even then I may have to be payed and given a years supply of Indian takeaways, crates of red wine and lashings of real ale. Oh and a psychiatrist session or two for free which would be more out of necessity than payment for going. I voted against taking up the offer by the way and would never show bias in a poll.

Well, maybe they are, but I really really don’t care. I probably wouldn’t take up the offer of a free ticket, but that’s more due to laziness and a lack of interest in the game.
I genuinely have no feelings for or against, in the same way as I have no real feelings for water polo or ski jumping. It’s not something I can be bothered with, but I certainly don’t trawl through the WEP for any post that meant I could add a comment to. Even mutty knows that.
IF, and it’s a huge if because of logistical problems, such a thing were offered, then those who want to take it can do so, I have no problem that they do, I hope they enjoy it; those who don’t want to don’t have to, and a poll on a website that we all recognise is not representative of the bulk of Latics support but which gives an outlet for some to air their views, is not going to make a ha’porth of difference to life as we know it.

You haven’t cast a vote Garswood, it would help make us all recognise how representative it was if you did cast your vote rather than just saying you wouldn’t go.
I don’t care whether people do watch them or don’t, I just wondered if people would take up the offer if it was free. Your reason of laziness and lack of interest is probably similar to most people who vote no.
I know it won’t make any difference, but how many polls on websites ever have?
