Same old same old trotted out week after week
“Our next 5 games are cup finals”.
Before that it was the next 7 are cup finals, the next 10 are cup finals …..etc.etc.
All just 8ollox for the media.
Think they’re worth more than any cup final.
Don’t see you getting a minimum £40m for winning FA Cup.Would you have said anything if Scotland had said “we’ll probably not win another game, it’s in the lap of the gods” or “we’ll win at least 3 of our remaining fixtures”, of course you would, nobody can say anything right for you at the moment, he said it like it is, the players know what they’ve got to do, we as fans should be doing our bit too.
The oldest cliche in football is ot again, notice how every game at the bottom will ow be a “six-pointer” we’ll be taking “one game at a time” and it’ll be “life or death.”
The truth is, Martinez needs to ignore the media and stuff these b0llocks cliches and concentrate on managing the bl00dy team, because there’s alot he needs to sort out going off the performance vs Fulham.
