Sensational performance all
Over the pitch.
Could easily have been 6 or 7 , one thing these kids seem to have in abundance is pace and that showed massively today and proved the main difference and they finally looked a unit.
Great response and real hope for the season ahead on that showing.

Yep brilliant performance onwards and upwards, we should have bagged at least 2 more but not gonna grumble. I think their keeper will be distraught gifting 2 goals nightmare of a game.
And glad to see Horwich Utd matched our result
Against, signing on time for Evatt

F### us…..this one’s for Shaun…..he absolutely deserves this !!!.for all the tsunami of aggro he’s dealt with…..including sh### from posters like myself at times(man enough to admit it)..enjoy it …..as stated let’s hope this is the beginning of another Wigan fairytale!!!!….We do have a history of it !!!
Look we had a very good win against a side who on the day were awful to the point the towel and white flag went in.
Their keeper for me should have saved all four goals gifting two of them but fair do’s to us you still have to bag them.
Another thing without Adeeko we looked far better in the middle, I’m sorry to say but he’s just not good enough so I tip my hat to Maloney for dropping him.
Rankine for me was motm he caused no end of problems. But let’s see if Maloney can keep the win train going and another 3pts next week.
His issue is consistency. He can’t seem to mirror a fine display the week after. We need a settled side and be on the front foot from the word go, none of this tippy tappy sh*t from the back width and go for it

Agree…..Lincoln another test with consistency being the keyword.Pace is a killer in any league and we have a squad with enough in it to do damage. We just have to make it our no 1 weapon and not reverting back slowing everything to a snails pace. Next Saturday will be interesting to see if we replicate yesterday’s team and performance…..then we may start to see the blueprint for a positive campaign.

I disagree mate that win is for the fans not Maloney, he is the one coaching the players and instructing them to play drab tippy tappy football, its about time he got his finger out and gave the fans what they want, we’ve suffered enough over the past four years without the manager adding to it.
Has he got the bottle to set up and play like that for the rest of the season? If he reverts back to slow tippy tappy football after yesterdays performance then he should be removed from his role, simple as that!
1st thing I noticed about yesterday, the decision to whip the ball in from corners.
Chambers corners dropped right into the danger zone and on a good day lady luck shines on you hence 2 goals from 2corners yesterday.
I know one thing, tippy tappy short corners are sh*t and don’t work for us so why Maloney insisted on short corners for so long is beyond me.
I say whip the f**ker in and take your chance. Chambers proved he’s the man for that. Also I’ve noticed we’ve started to move the ball faster back to front and utilising wide players.
My gripe is, one man and his dog, cat and budgie have been screaming for these changes to be made and now that Maloney has suddenly started to adopt these changes we look like a different animal.
I’d sooner lose 4-3 than 1-0 attacking front foot football than the tippy tappy out from the back and followed by a 40yard up n under and the f**kin annoying short corners.
Let’s hope that Maloney has seen that, although he prefers the Martinez possession style of football playing it out from the back trying to draw opposition players out L1 sides don’t come out they sit deep and wait.
My fear is he will slowly fall back into his old ways like he did from Birmingham to the 2 cup games.
Yesterday he must have seen that front foot move it quick less passes getting it forward suits us to a tee but I’m not sure he can stick to it
Consistenty is the key and I personally don’t think he can stick to it without falling back into his old ways
