Not seen the game but the lad who scored said we had 2 disallowed?
The disallowed goal by Kyle Joseph was well off side to be fair.
We had one headed off the line in the first half that looked like it crossed the line. The replay proved that it didn’t, however, the ridiculously biased Utd commentary team did say it appeared to brush the arm of another defender before it was headed clear and said they thought it should have been a penalty.
Anyway, overall it was a night for the youngsters to be happy and proud of themselves, they looked a match for United, and nobody watching would have known there was such a gulf in the level of the two teams.
Well done to each and everyone of them.
Yep a push in the Penalty box in the second half. If the linesman had been in this quarter of the pitch surely he would have seen it. All the Latics fans who were right behind the incident saw it. And that’s not being biased.I thought so too, and one defensively when their number 4 shoved Joseph to keep control of the ball.
Great following from the 2,000 fans that made the trip. Let’s go and get Promotion to Division one.. ;)
