The first in line should be the people, who in the dark days of the 1980’s when the club was on the brink of folding, met in the Queens Hall and pledged/gave money, to keep the club going, All the people who gave money received a certificate.
It was called the LIFELINE APPEAL How many on here have one?
Then next Shareholders, who since DW took over have been pushed right off the radar. There can’t be many left. After attending the last few Shareholders Meeting. There have only been about 25 people in attendance. :(

How do you become a shareholder? Wanted to know for a while, not just for final tickets (I have a ST and went to the semi so hopefully that’s enough).

I’m guessing they were available to buy at one time but not anymore?

Back row of block 119. Great.

I’m towards back of 120 myself. Out of interest do you know which row number is the back row?

This is where the ‘neutral’ zone is.

They better police it properly as I’m on the lower tier in front of them!

Anyone know how strict they are likely to be about ale on the official club coaches? Obviously it says don’t take any but would they really care if I took a few cans? Not a crate!

Police may stop, search and turn back the whole coach if any alcohol is found.

It says “don’t take” for a reason.

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1985/57/section/1

Note para 1(4) – it is also an offence to be drunk on such a vehicle
And you’ll probably fall off well before the coach reaches Wembley :woohoo:
Ha…I didn’t realise it was a law actually, just assumed it’d be down to the people who organised the coaches. I don’t do coaches as a rule, I much prefer trains but obviously it wasn’t an option this time.

Its a shame, as I wouldn’t mind having 4-5 quality German beers to enhance my journey, but its understandable as there’d probably be a few having 15 cans of crap beer if they were allowed and being sick etc

I’d be p*ssed off if i’d have queued up for hours when, within ten minutes you could have the same tickets booked without the effort.

Up to them though was no secret they’d be online too. Suits me as more people online would probably crash it haha.

Done and dusted mine now!

I haven’t. Had a queue screen initially. Logged in, no tickets there at 10am. Now found myself back in queue screen with a longer queue.

Lo and behold the chartered train that’s been advertising in the paper has been cancelled due to the engineering works. Called them earlier to check.

Thanks for the post.

WEP article posted on their website today states:

“Private companies are offering chartered train services for the game, and there is currently no suggestion that these will be affected”.

I don’t see how this can be the case though. If Riviera can’t offer a charter service, surely no other company can?

I just emailed Riviera to ask if this is the case. I can’t think of anyone else to ask. I await their response.

I must say the WEP has been a complete waste of space during this time. Amateur journalism at best.

They claim a meeting took place between Virgin/FA about trains but I received a response from Virgin on the day the match date was confirmed and they said there would be no additional services.

Fiction or what from the WEP?
