I’m not going sadly, but I really hope that the game goes ahead because then we will all have a good idea on if Roberto should be sacked in the coming weeks.
By the way it’s £15,99 for the banana costumes.
It was obvious your previous post was sarcastic and if you would care to re-read what you previously quoted me on you would get the picture.
The club is going downhill very slowly, but surely, we’ll be an ordinary Football League club again – hoping one day to be a Prem club again.
It may be hard for everyone to understand but the fact is that Dave Whelan has given up on Wigan Athletic !
So you think Whelan is selling N’Zogbia because he’s lost interest?
He lost interest over twelve months ago. He still has to sell players to keep the club afloat and so he can sell it.
Yeah, I agree with that but haven’t we sold enough players ?No. The club is still losing money and without Prem football, it’ll lose even more. Maybe it’s the wages of the players, though I doubt it because even though we may feel some players (past and present) are overpaid … we need to compare ourselves to other clubs around us and look at what their lads are on.
Tired now, i’ll continue this debate in the morning. :)
Reports also claim a Spanish player has refused to move to Wigan after an offer came in for him saying he wants a ‘big move’.
Well I rate Diame good’un imo.
But! with playing 1 upfront the midfield players must bang a few goals in,trouble is their not on a regular basis!and there lie’s our problem under Bobbys system. :mrgreen:Wouldn’t count too much on Diame or Thomas banging in the goals from midfield, though Watson and Clecerley have good scoring records.
I hope we do sign him, along with another left back, attacking midfielder and maybe dare I say a forward who is used to playing 4-2-3-1
Exactly what I was thinking.
In the summer we could of bought Schmiechal, Shorey, Dorrens and S.Fletcher for the amount we payed for Boselli.
Could of even got rid of Kirkland without worrying about the lack of cover.
S Fletcher Burnley to Wolves cost 6m
:o to think they could of bought Jason Scotland for a fraction of that.
I had know idea Fletcher cost that much, though the fee was 3-4 million.
There’s a difference between getting involved, and letting a fantastic football club burn at your feet after so much hard work to achieve Premiership status.
Sephton what on earth are you going on about? Did you not understand the sarcasm in my post?
If Whelan had not bailed the club out all those years ago, the highest we could have hoped to achieve would have been promotion to Division One.
Our best players need to be sold each year to keep to club running. If we don’t, we’ll go the same way as Portsmouth.
Try using a thesaurus, there’s sure to be better words than ‘blert’ in it.
So that’s where Bobby gets his european dreams from
;)He got homesick at Waltham Abbey apparently, he’ll be up against it in Munich.
He aint going Munich trust me ! ;)
Could be a target for either Villa or Spurs at the end of the season. Very much doubt he will move in January – especially abroad.I hope we do sign him, along with another left back, attacking midfielder and maybe dare I say a forward who is used to playing 4-2-3-1Exactly what I was thinking.

….we could be seeing some more free signings from Spain next month with the majority of the £7m going to Whelan and his family.
We’ll be playing Rochdale in League 1 by 2012/2013
happy days :D
Of course we will Sephton. He’s been fleecing us for years.
If Whelan had never got involved in the club, we’d be right up there with the big clubs now.
All Whelan wants is the money and with Martinez in charge (who wants to get us into Europe somehow) we could be seeing some more free signings from Spain next month with the majority of the £7m going to Whelan and his family.

Sephton, stick to playing kiss chase in the playground, mate.
I’m your mate now am I Griff :roll:hellThis is what it feels like to be Roberto Martinez on Saturday 15th January … the days every single supporter will turn against him and his black ‘n’ white cat.
You heard it here first.
Just need to start winning away from home and we could be in with a great chance of winning the whole thing!
The post below the Wigan fan’s is by Jay H …… possibly someone on this forum
“HAHAHA……Weve heard this before! as good as a manager Roberto is he has the loyalty of an alley cat as we found out down at swansea!!!!!”
