Has anyone heard about Ahli-al-Habsi signing for us?
He’ll probably start all our games until Kirkland’s fully fit.
How revolutionary – a reserve player taking the place of an injured first-teamer.
That might catch on. And to think some accuse Martinez of not knowing what he’s doing
I wouldn’t call Ali Al Habsi a Reserve player, he’s better than Pollitt who was a key figure in conceding goals last season. How is relegation good?
It’s not, I was making a sarcastic comment Mr.Ziggler
My bad. I just don’t feel that confident, maybe a couple more defenders but as it stands can’t see us surviving.
It’ll be a tough few months until the January Transfer Window is open, weget a couple good signings then (eg. Hugo, N’zogbia, Caldwell & Watson.)Yeah, I think he’ll do well next year and the good thing is he’s young as well so we might possibly be able to hold onto him a bit longer until a big club comes chasing after him.At the start of 2010 he was brilliant for us. The only down side I can think of is his wonder own-goal against Villa at home.
The wierd thing is he scored his only 2 goals against sides playing in Orange in the same month.
Not that it really matters

Have you any suggestions for this season’s prediction league?I was going to go with:
Correct home score 2 points
Correct away score 2 points
Correct result 6 points
Bonus for all correct 5 points.Any game involving Wigan Athletic would get a 5 point bonus for having everything correct.
So 15 points for a maximum, but 20 if it was a Wigan Athletic game max.
Is goal difference involved too ?
The new home kit looks good ..
Shut up Latics
Did you see Bramble’s interview with Sky Sports after the Arsenal game …. that’s confidence for you !

I understand this is public knowledge, but I hadn’t heard it.He is back at the club working with the players, I understand it is on the signing and keeping them happy whilst they are here – like Benson’s old role I suppose.
Has anyone else heard this (to be fair I overheard a conversation about it and so might have got it totally wrong)
He was at the Training Ground today for a bit, but he needed to catch a train to somewhere down south I think…
yeah it is mate. you after places ?Maybe, i’ll message you as soon as I know how I plan to get to Oldham.
How on earth can West Ham, Chelsea and Arsenal be in the North Group A? That’s just madnessOh and incidentally we don’t play Manchester City reserves, we play the Manchester City Elite Squad…..no doubt the brainchild of that prize pillock at Eastlands, Garry Cooke
It’s stupid …. the reserves have to travel down to London a few times a season now.
I’m confident the reserves will do well this year though.
