Massive performance today and I reckon it gives us championship football next season. Well done to all the team, an unexpected 3 points.
Massey was superb.
Great stuff from the boys down to 10 men for 75 minutes!
Lets keep it going on Monday.
3 points against Preston and we can relax a bit. When your back’s against the wall, the one thing you DON’T do is Nothing.
If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what you’re getting.
Changes for Saturday??Much better performance for 75 minutes! Then all change.
I was pleasantly surprised with the starting line up and consequently was reasonably optimistic of getting all the points.
Seems to be a trait with our manager that somewhere in the rule book it must say you defend a one goal lead for the last 15 minutes, even if youre dominating the game.(twice as many shots, twice as many chances created)
The negative impact on the players to this sort of change in tactics,(when playing well) upsets the rhythm / flow and confidence, particularly when what you’ve been doing has been working fine. It says to the opposition you can set up to attack us.
All of a sudden the opponents are swarming all over you and its like starting a game from scratch.
Our problem is the manager’s lack of confidence in his players to continue as he has originally set up and kill a game off.
You defend a 2 goal advantage not 1 goal. You’ve gained that advantage by playing the way you are and more often than not it will be good enough. Defending a 1 goal lead is difficult even for world class defendets.(P.S. we don’t have any)
Cook is far too negative and we WILL be in a relegation fight. Our players are not really the problem. What they get asked to do is.
That is down to Cook and he’s failing.
Lets hope we survive but it’s not looking good. At this rate we’ll be bottom three when we play Brentford unless Cook starts being positive for the full 90 minutes.2 points,
Its good to see optimism.Unbelieveable.
2-1 lead, Powell and Massey off.
Clarke and Naismith on.
Reading 3-2.
Of course thats not the reason we lost? is it.
Why change,Possibly some respite after the Swansea game but not after today.
4-1-4-1 & Morsy was almost taking the ball out of Waltons hands to get a touch.
Would you give Cook a few million to spend on players based on who has come in already. Don’t think so.
2 weeks to the next home game and don’t be surprised if it’s a new man at the helm.
It needs to be.Rotherham, Ipswich and Reading?
You need to check out the last 5 results for each of us.
We don’t have a goalscorer this level. (Just 4 goals from last 8 games.Includes 3 against Blackburn)
Cook is League one at best.
New owners won’t be splashing the cash in January. You need to build with a potential Premiership manager along with the team.We are woefully slow.
My missus could outrun Burke,Buxton, Burn and Warnock with both her hands full of shopping from Asda and not be out of breath doing it!!Just rang Eavesway and made it a 52 seater.
Don’t worry, Joyce won’t put up with these ‘deluded’ prima donnas who think they only have to put a football shirt on and they’re premier class.
January and half of this lot will be out the door. -
