There is no way I could defend the result on Sunday, this cannot happen again. Bobby has had his first season and go lucky, with 30 points to stay up it would have taken a poor manager not to keep us up this season.
The obvious problems we have in the team are plain to see, we need to strengthen defensively, but buy a midfielder who can kill the game and tackle. Diame is a class act, but needs to be allowed freedom to go forward, he fails to stop midfield runs and then gives up too easily. We need a stronger strike force and back four who can play together as a unit.
The challenge is for Bobby to clean out the squad and bring a some experience in, maybe a full back or two who can stop crosses….. If this continues then off with his head….

This will be one of my last posts on here, possibly for ever, but certainly for some time.
To come out with the ‘sack Martinez’ comments now, is ridiculous.However, going off the stories in several papers today, and yes, I know it is just newspapers, it would appear that Whelan is ‘concerned’ about some of Roberto’s transfer targets, as he is looking at signing both Leon Britton, and Angel Rangel, from former club Swansea. The papers carry the story, saying that Whelan wants talks with Roberto, after seeing his other signings from Swansea fail to deliver, and it says that Whelan is thinking “are these players good enough for the Premiership?” (Perhaps DW is WILLING to spend money on better players, and it is Roberto being too frugal/cautious?)
I’ll make a bold statement now, that I will fully support Roberto, as we go into the summer, and towards the new season. Because he has the opportunity to move players out, and bring players in, to make his OWN team. However, if it gets to October, and we are struggling and looking the shambles we have for much of this, my patience will be gone, and it will be time for a change. He’s got the chance now, so………….
