We need premiership experience in the squad, I think Mario has it but we shouldnt pay over the odds. I think the reason we lacked composure last season was a lack of experience in other positions..and the fact that the team was raided in 2009 of our best players. Cattermole, Heskey, Valencia to name a few …
Martinez seems to want change and I don’t see why not. The replacements better do the job though !

Latics boss Roberto Martinez has been chasing Colunga for sometime now but though it is understood that everything has been agreed Colunga himself wants to wait to see if Seville are prepared to match the terms and fee on offer.
Toribio is a young defensive midfield player and he has been described as the Spanish Lee Cattermole, strong in the tackle yet able to play a bit also, he started his career off at Barcelona but moved to Malaga without making an appearance.
This season saw the 21 year old make his La Liga debut and he went to make 21 appearances as Malaga hung on to their top flight status.
More news on Toribo & Colunga should be revealed before the world cup begins

The striker, 25, impressed when scoring seven goals to save Real Zaragoza from relegation while on loan from Recreativo Huelva.Martinez said: “Colunga is a good player who has done well. He wouldn’t have trouble adapting to the way we play.”

In the papers today Wigan are strongly linked with 3 FREE transfer players and 2 of them are in there 30’s !we do tend to take allot more in freindly’s though dont we, sheff wed and n0b end for example. we’d probs take a good 1- 1,500 with it being so long since we went their it used to be a brilliant away game that. It’s unlucky many supporters will have another chance to go to Boundary Park & last year we took 1’500 to Preston selling out the allocation.
if he became new manager, it would be

Nah, it’s ongoing innit! It’s more hassle than its worth deleting stuff….
Although saying that, we are moving servers and stuff this summer, plus upgrading the software and hardware we use…. so everything may dissappear yet  :D
I’m almost into the Youth Team, noooo ! :)
