He’s signed a 3 year deal with Bolton, very low key but it’s been done last week.

His contract would have expired in January so they don’t want him going on a free … but 3 years? I didn’t expect that!

How small’s our squad going to be now? Our 2 loaned players, De Ridder, Koumas, Pollitt and S Caldwell all gone with N’Zogbia and a few others probably on the way out …..

Should have had Cleverley taking the corners from the start, though Watson’s good at free-kicks and penalty’s.

The police almost never do anything to anyone who’s misbehaving if they happen to be in large numbers. Stewards after the Bolton game basically watched (from a hill near “The Bridge”)100 Wanderers fans start a fight with a group of around 20 Wigan lads. A few police eventually came on horses and the Bolton fans were quickly rounded up.

The West stand will be full of Utd fans anyway??

They go in the West because they won’t get hit for wearing a United shirt or cheering when they score when in the East their all sorted out one way or another.

Grab hold of the Manc and tell a steward. We wouldn’t get any United fans in our end if they got lamped one every season :angry-boxing:

If I were Jordi Gomez I might of skied a free-kick and allowed them to get past the midfield if that ment I have a week in Tenerife.

in reply to: There off to Tenerife. #59887
Should be forced into a behind closed doors friendly with Crewe.

Went to Crewe last season, Roberto’s 1st game. It might as well have been behind a closed door. The whole town I mean.

in reply to: Your FAVOURITE all time starting 11…. and manager #59757

I’m going 352

Manager: Jewell

Filan
De Zeeuw – Methven – Hinnigan
Bullard – Gomez – Kelly – O’Neill – McCulloch
Ellington – Houghton

Think there may be a slight danger of us being over run in the centre of midfield

And to think I forgot the boy Liddell :o

So he’s in, and Houghton’s out.
Question: Why is Gomez in your favourite Latics team ever? I know the guys got cool hair, but come on …… :angry-banghead:

in reply to: Your FAVOURITE all time starting 11…. and manager #59756

It doesnt have to be best starting eleven.

Filan

Boyce De Zeeuw De Vos Bainesy

Valencia Bullard McCullloch

Jones Barlow Haworth

manager : Jewell

Haworth!? More like Haworthless, I’d sooner have Agahowha in than him? What prey tell made you decide Haworth was one of favourite strikers?
Sounds like their were quite a few Wigan fans at yesterday’s match.

Our next home game in Reserves is Aston Villa on 8th of March.
