£ 30 max for away fans in the Premiership nowadays.

I can`t understand why this should n`t apply to the Championship as well

100 % correct Garswood Latic. At least there`s someone one here who can see the real reason behind this charade.
Boris Johnson ,Gove ,Farage and Duncan Smith have stirred the shyte and now you wont see them for dust. It will be left to someone else to pick up the pieces and sort this whole mess out.

It was one of the best games I`ve ever seen. It had a bit of everything.
Gordon Banks must have been the Port Vale goalkeeping coach as he came out before kick off in the warm up with the goalkeeper.
Cue a mini pitch invasion with kids looking for his autograph.
There was also no segregation which resulted with a large gang of Vale supporters stood on the Town End terracing. It seemed to kick off about every 10 minutes.
At the end of the game it felt like my head was on a bloody swivel

The match against Port Vale was on Good Friday.
As Bruce Cherry wrote in his book ” The League At Last ”

Good Friday ? It was bloody brilliant.

According the the book Bruce Grobbelaar wasn`t in the Crewe goals in the next game (I think that must have been the season after ) it was someone called Rafferty.

If memory serves me right I saw Paul Trevillion on stage at Wigan Casino around 1974.
He was on for about 40 minutes drawing cartoons !!
What a crap night that was

The place was that posh they insisted on parking our B.T. vans up for us in the underground garage next to the Daimlers and Rolls Royces

                Happy days John
