Yeh – Weir is a .. weird one – got quite excited when we re-signed him, but another that adds nothing to the team, not good enough, really expected more from him to be honest.
Rankin was absolute garbage, lived up to his name. – 1 trick pony – dips his shoulders a couple of times, attempts to beat his man and gets tackled .. and repeat all game, may as well have played with 10 men – what on earth did Chelsea ever see in him…
I think it WOULD be different with a new manager – a breath of fresh air to be honest, for both players and fans alike. I’ve never known a manager look so inept at interviews – scratch head, scratch chin, erm, erm .. week after week after week – if he’s issuing his team talks the same way, the players will just be looking around at each other, wondering if anyone else understood what he was saying – and i think he needs to let the players loose each game – hardly any runners, movement off the ball – think of how many penalties we have had and how many offsides we have had – very very low, simply as we don’t have bodies in the box, and we don’t try through balls from our midfielders, where, I’m sure our “striker” would be putting them away..
I don’t think he was ready to move yet – yes he’s come on leaps and bounds with us the last 2 seasons in particular, but i don’t think he is a championship player, at least a starter – Although he’s been great for us, i was beginning to think he was getting a bit too big for his boots with us, and he thinks he’s better than what he is – just my thoughts.
I thought at one point we were very close to signing Jordan Rhodes from Blackpool as the “old experienced head” we crave ?
Jason cleared the cache and now works perfect on the mobile and PC, cheers !
