      Calm down calm down

We have no devine right to be in this league, we aren’t second bottom by chance, we are where we deserve to be. If that means we get relegated, so be it, if we stay up, so be it. This is part and parcel of being a supporter. Im far from happy with us being where we are at the moment, but keep the faith, we’ve had years of highs recently now its time for possibly some years of lows … it just makes it all the better feeling when the highs come along. Buckle up and enjoy the roller-coaster that supporting Wigan Athletic is …

A man staggers into the emergency room with a concussion, multiple bruises, and a five iron wrapped around his neck. Naturally the doctor asks him what happened.

“Well, it was like this” said the man. “I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole, we both sliced our balls into a pasture of cows. We went to look for them, and while I was rooting around I noticed that one of the cows had something white in it’s rear end. I walked over and lifted up the tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife’s monogram on it stuck right in the middle of the cow’s butt. Thats when I made my mistake.”

“What did you do?”, asked the doctor.

“Well, I lifted the tail, pointed, and yelled to my wife, “Hey! This looks like yours!”

I think he’ll come in and grab the bull by its horn.

Didn’t he reportedly turn down a move to palace last year, and rumours of Celtic as well ? To me it seems like he doesn’t have the confidence in his own ability to want to move to another club. Just my opinion like.

I can actually see where Malky is coming from with this. McLean gives his all every game, has power, pace and does generally give 100% … he just cant cross a ball. If he were to play in the middle up front, he can certainly cause some hassle to the centre backs, would chase the keeper down and hopefully do what our other strikers (when played) cant at the moment and score a goal. Im certainly not against trying this out, playing him as a centre forward – lets face it what have we to lose ?

I would like to know if he is willing to look at youth to try to solve our goal scoring problems and what his preferred formation is going forward, now he has had chance to assess the team.

They say people vote with their feet (or arses in our case) so IF he got the job, then people who didn’t agree wouldn’t go the game …. right ?

I for one really cant happening, and rather than having any negative affect ,I can see some of the lost fans returning in the hope of seeing a decent game of football ..

I can remember when he first came and he played a very high line constantly pressing the oppoition quite like southamptons style last season. Then… we just stopped playing that way, players became very unfit and it just went downhill. Im mystified as to with such a deep squad we find ourselves in this position but agree he had to go.
