Cze?, I think he has it in his locker to become a v.g. forward. He’s only 21 and yeah he did get bussled around by the defenders but he’s not filled out yet between 21 and 25 his body shape will change, remember Lang ?.

But for me hitting it long to Cze as a hold up man? Jesus wept, that’s 1million percent NOT his game.

I had one guy up the top from me shouting ffs be stronger Cze!! When Cze went upsides for a ball with an experienced defender.Christ I’m thinking cut him some slack. He’d prefer it passed to his left or right something to run on to.

Cze’s game is for me has 2 components

Playing off the shoulder of the last man and getting into the box at just the right time.
To me he looks like he has that natural ability to do both and never rushes or panic’s.

What he needs is, a midfielder who can find him and Taylor to play second fiddle because Taylor isn’t a true goal scoring forward.

I personally think we’ve a rough cut diamond who with time will score us goals for fun in L1 then move on for big bucks.

Once he fills out over the next 12-18months then he’ll cause defenders no end of problems

Settle down pal, your getting a manager rush, I won’t hold judgement till at least Christmas when he’s brought in a few of his own and he’s about 20+ games under his belt.

He talks well and he’s instantly bought into the ethos of the club like a duck to water but he did the same at Preston.

Like I say, I personally think he’s a good fit for the club. If he does struggle it won’t be his fault, it will be the lack of financial support.

Norburn hes a liability, he offers nothing more than a good few yellows & reds.

Mellish I actually have to give the guy some credit, what he lacks in ability he makes up for in effort.

At least he has had a go at trying to get forward making runs with the ball at feet something alot of our players are sh*t scared of doing bar J.Smith. They don’t always come off but at least the guy has a go so credit were it’s due.

Darcy ? the Jury’s out for now on this guy but so far he seems like he has limited ability, tries hard but that’s it. Footballs all about levels and I hope he improves.

Dale ? Can’t tackle, lives in fear of the bogey man i.e. scary defenders, offers nothing and personally he should be sub till the season ends and then sent back. If we sign him then it’s because he’s cheap or free on low wages.

We’ve been unlucky on the injury front especially with Chambers and M.Smith plus others but we’re no different from dozens of other sides.

Anyway, the new managers in and he has a few weeks to assess the squad and weigh up what he’s got to work with then it’s up to him to grab a couple of wins to get us over the line and see the season out.

After that it’s anyone’s guess as to the direction the owner wants us to go in.

Tbh I honestly wouldn’t waste my time watching it I’ve better things to do. In the summer Danson will have been in charge for two years and the progress we’ve made is, we’ve basically got rid of anyone who’s any good and slashed the wage bill abit like getting rid of all the tradesmen then let the apprentices run the show.

This season we should be pushing for a top 6 now that we have a cleared decks. The club will have £7million from the selling of four players (and no doubt Tickle money) not to forget any money from Robinson when he leaves Fulham and a new manager who needs to build a side.

If the manager is not backed and we don’t invest in the squad then I’m afraid the season after next I’ll simply pick and choose my games.

If the owner shows willing then so will the fans it’s as simple as that. How long can he say “Well I’m taking back money it owed me at the takeover that first 12 months”

He knew the script when buying the club, he didn’t go in blind so for me next season he has to show willing that’s football.

No more were building for the future all’s I see is going through the motions. Firstly try getting some ground staff in sort that pitch out, it looks fookin well.

Those sides who don’t invest at some point always suffer the consequence. Even back in the day we bought Barlow for £50k and that was when we had very little but that one player turned it around for us.

I always said from the start 2025-2026 should be when our house is straight and no more excuses. We’ve sides surpassing us sides that in our day they couldn’t lace our boots.
For me we should be in the Championship middle but to achieve that Lowe needs to be able to bring in one or two and I don’t mean loans from Oxford. Seriously, if they were any good would Oxford be loaning them ?, head wobble & get a grip.

He looks and sounds honest enough, speaks well in front of the camera and no doubt the players which is a positive thing. Players pick up on that just like in any walk of life, those who come across well get the most out their troops so to speak.

That was one thing Maloney was very poor at, interviews. His twitching, his nervousness the dry lips it all looked very uncomfortable. Now I’m not saying he was like that in front of the players but I can’t imagine he’d have been any different.

Nice guy yeah but sometimes it comes down to at the end of the day to man pure utter management skills and how you put yourself across.
I’m sure Lowe will want Wigan with a Birmingham budget but that just isn’t going to happen.
His job at the end of the day will be to motivate and bring out the best in lesser quality players and bond them as a team, just like the vast majority of lower league managers with little to spend.

If he comes across the same to the players as he does in his interviews, is backed financially by Danson and is given time then I’m sure we’ll do well as a club.
