It was a very breezy night and think we held in there well, the lads seem up for the fight which is encouraging, but we cant get carried away, one swallow and all that.
The whole squad seemed to get in the celebration at the end, must have been an amazing feeling and one which would have seen the fans go nuts had they been there

Correctomondo and if my memory serves me right we didn’t hold the fact that he was an ex Bolton manager against him. In fact I think I’ve still got a bag load of T-shirts with his fizzog on the front.

From what I’m led to believe some of his suitors are put off by the fact that he has a problem with his ticker.
Wigan were aware of this and always had a defibrillator to hand just in case.
This never appeared to be a problem whilst at Wigan but after all the publicity surrounding Muambe I guess that some clubs may be thinking twice about him.
As I previously said this doesn’t appear to have been an issue and on his day he can be a great player. I still remember the crackers he scored at the Stadium of Light.
