first few chapters are beltin….I cant put the book down!!

I was looking at the pictures in the middle (Oh boy am I going to regret typing that) and the first Chapter after them was about how he took on Boots in court and then it went on to Latics and the stadium, it was that good I carried on to the end. It was actually from page 169, not 223 – whose counting..

I started the book at page 223, where he talks about latics, there are only about three paragraphs about the Rugby all the way to the end.
That was discussing what really happened with their board and how they stiffed their club and fans and left Whelan with the blame and the pieces.
Good story about him taking on Boots cos they didn’t like a liitle shop on the market doing better than them…. sound familiar????

Well this years run is done, I in my normal fashion started late due to little ones at home. I heard the race starting as I locked the car and so only crossed the start line about 3 minutes after everyone else had gone. It was quite funny seeing all the faces on the spectators have another runner going through so long after the race had started.
Anyway I done it in around 28 minutes ish after all.

On a dissappointing note, there were Latics, Man Utd, Liverpool and Everton shirts, but I never saw one Rugby shirt.
