Sounded like they were a set of dirty barstewards and Bobby had to send Thomas on to sort um out. Looks like victor stole the show again with james thur the best of the others.

              ya reet.

I take it you didn’t see the interview with DW on SSN, when he gave that very explanation when asked why Zog had not travelled to Austria.

I’ll stay at home and listen Matt MacCann talking about what he can see in the Blue Peter garden from the commentary box..

Oh forgot the Blue Peter garden isn’t there anymore.

keep him one of our best players and could go for much more in 1 – 2 years

Agree. I have been told by football fans in Scotland though that MacArthur looked the better prospect.[/quote]

If the friendly in Austria is out to go off, I would certainly suggest “thur” looks the better player than “thy”.

Might not be all blue. Could be similar to the 2005 kit with the stripes a bit lower down.

Would be just like us though to call our mascot stripey and not play in stripes.

That explains why I saw this 7 foot fluffy kangaroo walking into the DW today with “bluey” written across its back. :shifty:

Because he probably knew that there weren’t really three clubs who were seriously after him. Don’t believe everything you read

I didn’t read it Griff, I heard it with my own ears live on SSN coming out of Whelans mouth. He clearly stated that there were 3 clubs who had made an enquiry about Zog and that I presume the enquiries will have been made direct to DW himself, not via Newsnow or vital football.

Now I know “enquiries” might not turn into bids, but that would have been enough for me to sit back in my comfy boardroom recliner and start rubbing my hands.

If bobby can manage to bring in a couple of decent players, my money is on Wigan to finish above a poorly managed villa.

“YoYo” mark my words, the ginger nut scot is not good enough to manage a side like villa. :snooty:

Personally I would have hung on to him for a couple of weeks.
I really think DW has fallen for the dummy sold by McLeish. “If we can’t get Zog, then I’ll go for Aiden McCready”

That has led to a DW knee-jerk in my view. If 3 clubs were interested in him, as DW openly said, why not start a bidding war??

The man is a successful business man FFS, surely he must know he was holding the trump card, last year of contract or not.
If all clubs back out he could have always back tracked.
This really puzzles me, not the fact that Zog has gone, that was always going to happen, but why has he gone so cheaply??.

Must admit I cannot see no reason why you can’t neck a pint from inside the boxes. Was in the corporate at the away game at Blackburn and had a pint on a table at the other side of this curtain and literally bobbed me head through the curtain to take a sip of ale.
                            How ludicrous is that!!

I was thinking more on the lines of getting more Saints fans in when they play the chubsters.

Full time whistle goes just has Caldwell makes one two edge of box and looks to have chipped the keeper.

Generally a good work out, but we look very, very, lightweight up front. Lets hope Rodders comes back from his escapades in South America all fired up.

On the evidence of this game, Moses looks ready to fill the gap left by Zog. however, I really hope this Gomez playing wide right milarky is not in bobby’s long term plans. :naughty:
