I wonder if Bobby regrets the garbage he spouted in this evening Wigan Evening Port ?? Respecting Swindon as a good team, if so he would have played a different team ! So much for resting players against Sunderland which also cost us points now we are out of the FA Cup and the club and town has been totally embarrassed.
Never given a decent chance to show what he can do just like Scott Sinclair and see what he’s doin now ! We may well regret this especialloy after Figueroa’s blunder v Sunderland giving them their 3rd goal.
Stamm did well covering for Boycey but will still have the 2 worst central defenders in prem league with Caldwell n Gohouri. Caldwells goal obly offset the one he gifted Yakubu.
Once again we lost the plot when we went 3.2 up.Latics have only one member of the coaching staff who has played at top level and that is Dave Watson. Yet Martinez I assume has never seen fit to promote him to 1st team defence coach something we have needed for a long time !
I was shocked right at the start when Martinez appointed Graham Barrow as 1st team coach, he served Latics well in his time but only at lowest level and never managed very successfully even at lower level.Apparently Van Anholt was on Twitter before Fulham game complaining that he wasn’t even on bench when he was supposed to be at Wigan to gain experience. Same story as with SCott Sinclair, never really got a chance at Wigan and look what he has done at Swansea and their league position !
Absolutely agree, cannot see where we will get next point from even Blackburn next week will be a huge challenge !
Of course next week Martinez will bring back the great defender Caldwell ha ha, biggest joke in Prem league.
Cannot understand why Martinez cannot see what most others do, Boyce is a rock so move him into centre and put Stam in at right back where he can attack also. Give Van Anholt a chance on the left he did really well at Everton and is young, fast and hungry.

It is obvious there is a need for some serious changes if we are to have any chance of survival.I suspect everyone will agree our defensive performances have been a real cause for concern almost since bobby arrived with his backroom team. It is in the backroom where I feel the problem may lie. Sorry but Graham Barrow 1st team coach your having a laugh. Goalie coach Inaki who ?
We need a proven defensive coach who has played at the highest level (Premier League) and he is already there under our noses. Why has Dave watson not been drafted into first team duties to take care of the defence, or am I just the only one who see’s it ? Dave has done a sterling job coaching the youth team, he may not want full blown responsibility but he has the background and coaching skills to surely make a difference.
If we don’t do something quick then the writing is clearly on the wall.
Sorry guys but I like many thousands of others at the DW have given Scotland every possible opportunity to show what he can do. Unfortunately the simple fact is he can’t ! He may well be a very good championship player but will never do it in the Premier league. As for Moreno he too may not find the net but at least he has a decent first touch on the ball and wins the occasional header. Against Portsmouth you could clearly see that our own players started to play around Scotland rather than just waste the ball by trying to pass it to him.
Absolutely agree Watson should be signed up, instead I suspect Roberto will get rid as he is not his favourite as proved by shipping him out on loan and persisting with Scotland.
Sunday’s result shows just what can be achieved when we play with a team of 11 players instead of the 10 when he includes Scotland !
Scotland, Gomez just have to go in the Summer even though they are worth nothing at least their wages can be used for other players.
