just rang the springy … they’ve got it on.
3 of us flying from Manchester on Lufthansa to Graz (about 30km away) total £660 – £220 each. out on the tue 10th back early on sun 15th time to get back for the Bolton match. theres a regular train service from a station near the airport to Maribor. just need match tickets :)
Correct Methven, the right way to do this trip is with Lufthansa through Frankfurt or Munich to Graz. With changeover comes to about 4hrs travel time. Graz is closer to Maribor than Ljubijana and the train takes half hour for about 25 quid. Easyjet from heathrow is now at about 185 return its a no brainer to go from Manchester as your ale and a bit of jackbit is inc on Lufthansa. I’ve never been to Graz but it isn’t as expensive as the rest of Austria and has several brewery’s charging about 3e for half a litre of beer. Maribor itself looks good but I’m inclined to return to Graz as its a bigger place and the Christmas markets will be on. Bit gutted as I wanted to get to Ljubijana but probably won’t now.
we’re planning 3 nights in Graz and 2 in Maribor. There is no way I wanted to get back to the UK after a 4-5 hour flight then drive back from London for the sake of 30 quid. think we land about 12ish on Sunday…time to get back to the Springy for a swift one the off to the match :D

More to do with the fact that all the ones that used to just come on here and browse now have to log in.
Maybe the fact that they are now members of the site and have to be logged in to see anything has now prompted them to post as well… the more the merrier..
This applies to me. I’ve been a lurker on this board for a number of years but never felt the desire to join and post. But with the recent change forcing people to log in to view posts I had to join and thought I may as well join in the discussion.
Same here, lurked since about 2004.
The log in persuaded me to join and (attempt to) contribute
same here… been a lurker for a few years now :)
