As expected the dynamic duo put the filth to the sword. What I would givem to have any one of Gestede or Rhodes in our last 2 games.Something like 39 between them.Good result just keeps the pressure on the other teams .Still it won’t make a difference if we can’t perform in the last 2.
Rovers tomorrow night is game 3 of my survival plan.Gone for 1-1 draw but hope Rudy and Jordan tear then a new …thingy.!
Of course I’m made up with a win but we weren’t good.As previous poster stated a better side would have mullered us again. As for the striker issue our forwards have scored around 4 or 5 goals between them all season. Blackburn who are around 10th in the league have 2 with 37 between them. Playing no striker’s in the last 3 games will see us down.
No strikers was a p***take…..After all our problems up top surely MAF and Mckay worth a go.
Well the first 2 results gone to plan……now just have to follow the rest and we’ll be ok….p’s. ….Please MAF…tune in to Readings Mackie for a lesson on how to hold the line and be a nuisance .
Optomistic clairvoyants though !!!
Don’t give a toss what team he plays Sat…..Tonight was what counted and he shat himself…No ambition or balls to make his mark.Same crap…I really thought he would be more positive and change it up top……
Both McKay and Caldwell had chances to throw caution to the wind and swap things round particularly up front and neither did.Ultimately no forward threat has cost us all season long and Caldwell fell foul of it himself in his 2 games .I would prefer an experienced manager but I hoped he would have had the nuts to drop the waste up front and go for the juglar but nope same lame team as Friday. All possession and thats all.It just puts the turd on top of the cake in what has been a comedy season.Don’t think Caldwell has endeared himself to some of us, me definately not
Bollocks team selections….nothing new there then.Couldn’t make this up.Fortune starting ….effing frightening !!!
Good point…
I’d believe anything to explain the car crash season we’re having.I tend to side with Dick of a manager, playing Fortune,under-performing or not good enough players,no leadership ,de-motivated staff, playing Fortune and finally ….playing Fortune.
Sorry to be negative……Without Fortune 4 points …with 1.
And we being linked to a loan move for another striker from Burnley. What a pillock thus manager is becoming. Waghorn ,Mckay now Sordell, and guess what ? Fortune will still start.Couldn’t blame Mckay, Waghorn for bailing out in summer if this guy still at the helm.
He got dispossessed too often, doesn’t attack the ball just waits for it to come to him.I lost count how many times his 1st touch rolled 5 yds .So what exactly did he do today? Granted he faired better than Clarke but that wasn’t too difficult. Maybe the fact that he is pretty poor means you all think he’s done okay compared with his usual performances.Remember he doesn’t get himself in scoring positions therefore he hardly ever has an effort on goal hence 6 months since he last bagged. No goals in nearly 20 games one of the reasons we are where we are. He’s certainly not all to blame for our plight ,but poor strikers starting is a huge factor.
Seriously ?…He was inept yet again and never ever looked like creating or scoring.Another 75mins and another blank for him,he is ponderous!!!…….Waghorn has 3 times more goals and hardly been seen on the pitch recently,so how does he get on before him is unfathomable..Manager to blame for sticking with the same hopeless strike partnership and not getting 3pts against a Bolton side who today at least looked worse than us.Saving grace …..a stunning finish from Wednesday so gap slightly reduced but should have been more.
