Too many so called football experts at this club and other forums continually slate lang instead of Mr swap shop. Not a f####### clue which 11 he’ll start on any given match day or where they’ll play. Agree I thought it was a timid effort against Utd and his substitutions smacked of not wanting the young uns to be on the end of a bad experience. Shit home atmosphere created by the East stand disgrace. I came off underwhelmed….feeling with a more ballsy man in charge we could just maybe have got the crowd animated and stole a goal. Instead he starts an injured Humphreys, no Macmanaman..then brings f######## Magennis on so you know that’s it. Embargo and by sounds of it no money anyway……are we really going to cash Lang in for a paltry 250 to 300k…….and replace him with who !!!!!….I’m starting to get a tad concerned about our real finances…..as stated no scouts, board, doctor etc, etc………and no information from our owner as to the real status of our club. Simple offer Lang a deal!!!!!
Spot on !!!…..Incompetence to let him go considering the embargo were under and rumours that Mr Danson has more financial resurrection to perform.Thats if the rumours that things in the financial state of play are worse than he believed when fast track purchasing us !!!!…..Then f### me who would we get that ticks all the boxes for us like he does ????? With an empty transfer pot . Some need to lay off him and point the finger at the man who doesn’t play him where he does his best work.!!!!
Sad….but agree!!!
Good enough for top 4 teams but not for us…..agree he’s struggled but why not try playing him on the right where he’s always done well……..his poor form is again in a large proportion down to Maloney and his multitude of starting 11’s. Let’s see if we have anyone in the pipeline ….cos f### we we certainly need a striker…..
Son rekons Lang looked in tears at the end…..stayed on pitch well after final whistle…..fueling the already circling rumours he’s off to join Richardson at Rotherham. I’d be sorry to see him go but couldn’t blame him. Pity we can’t offload Magennis till June. …….if true let’s see what fee if any we get……and more importantly what freebies we can recruit to join the 1st eleven tombola!!!
I don’t get some supporters thinking it was a great performance. Easiest 2 nil win you’ll see. Wrong team selection, late substitutions (Jones should have been yanked half time). Magennis was dog shit at Barnsley but obviously Maloney doesn’t think so ….still preferred in front of Wyke. Real opportunity on 60 mins to really give it a go …..still in it remember for all their 1st half missed opportunities…..waited till game over then goes damage limitation substitution (Magennis). A good Utd from years gone by would have smashed us …..so this poor side was there to at least have a go at…..and we chose not to be embarrassed.
Agree….I really thought we could have made them sweat and as you say they were bang average and we were completely toothless so why not at 60 bring on Wyke,Mac,Smith and get balls in fro wide ? but guess what ?….On trots Fletchers carbon copy……unreal !!!….Zero hope of rescuing a draw then. We really do need to sort the forwards out cos we have no continuity. Humphreys looks injured, Wyke off Maloneys Xmas card list Sze not up to it just yet and that Stones 28 day loan was invaluable!!!
Monday night,8:15,7500 of em in East all the ingredients for chaos. If your in denial that this has been totally mismanaged then your either don’t go to many powderkeg games or just an ostrich.
F### me……you talk bollocks. I went to League cup final in Cardiff on a coach packed with families. Stopped at services at the side of a “Saddleworth Reds” supporters coach who decided to attack our supporters and put windscreen through…….Went to Old Trafford numerous times and similar assaults happened twice more. Large support means more retarded knobs. Their allocation should have been North stand ,period. F### me there’s trouble wether rivals or not…..what our club has done is hugely increase the risk of it occurring and as previously poster stated put lots of families off bringing kids again. Danson and his cronies have dropped a clanger….
Would have sold out with the normal away north stand……..just been a f####### embarrassing!!!
Another dickhead at Sunderland….SO in touch with the importance of this fixture to both sets of supporters. We have handled the ticketing like greedy amateurs…..total disregard for the supporters and more importantly their safety …….hope I’m wrong but United morons seated everywhere, plenty getting lashed time…and East stand exodus crossing both South/NorthStands…….is a recipe for trouble. North stand allocation should have been it….end F####### of .
Ticketing allocation been governed by a ball bag!!!….Hope we roll the Brand FC over but I’m in a group who emailed club to air our concerns…..there will be grief and all those happy bunnies who had no problems with it then enjoy….
To try resolve my confusion I forwarded them an email asking why their embargo reporting page shows “no clubs presently under a transfer embarg”…..This is today’s reply……..”Thank you for your replies, we appreciate you getting back in touch and I apologise if there is any confusion.
As can be read in the Embargo Reporting Service FAQ, the Clubs agreed for the EFL to publish all Clubs who are under a registrations embargo. Outside of this, Clubs may find themselves subject to certain restrictions (based on any previous payment defaults) which might, for example, mean they can still register players but not sign anyone for a transfer fee, compensation fee or loan fee (as per Regulation 52.6).
Whilst there may be Clubs who are subject to these restrictions, they would not appear on the Embargo Reporting Service as they are not strictly under a ‘registration’ embargo, as per the above they may still be permitted to register players as long as they are not for a fee.
I hope we have been able to clarify matters for you. We can only suggest you contact the Club in question, if you are looking for specific information.
Thank you for contacting the EFL.
Kind Regards
This Last paragraph is confusing……they give me a link to a transfer embargo reporting service which when accessed states ” no clubs presently under embargo”……..then kop out yet again with this”We are not able to comment any further on specific Clubs or the length of time they may or may not be subject to an embargo. We would recommend you contact the relevant Club if you wish to seek further information.”…….F### me what a cowardly organisation…..what ???…is this information party to the official secrets act ?…..
I also emailed them requesting clarification on the transfer embargo….asking for information regarding which ,(if any) clubs are presently subject to one. ….I accessed the link provided but it states “There are currently no clubs under embargo”..!!!…….This is their reply…..”RE: Transfer Embargos
HelloThank you for your e-mail, we appreciate you getting in touch.
The EFL has an embargo reporting service on its website HERE, which outlines Clubs who are currently under an embargo and provides an embargo FAQ here.
In addition, EFL Clubs agreed at the Summar AGM earlier this year, that the non-payment of HMRC debt has been added as a trigger of Regulation 52.6, so Clubs who accumulate 30 days of late payments in a 12-month period will be unable to sign a player for a fee or any consideration for three full transfer windows. The amendment to the 30-Day Rule also provides for Clubs to self-report late payment of any debt covered by Regulation 52.6, plus a right of appeal for Clubs triggering the 30-Day Rule. Regulations 17.1 and 17.3 can be accessed via the EFL.com website here.
We are not able to comment any further on specific Clubs or the length of time they may or may not be subject to an embargo. We would recommend you contact the relevant Club if you wish to seek further information.
Thank you for contacting the EFL.”
Kind Regards
